It has been years ago, but I recall seeing Mr. Harrison race once or twice when I was working with Kelly Shryock while he was traveling with the USMTS.
@@darynklein1075 Oh I can believe it happened to him. Now it is a shame that a driver has to wait that long for a good ride in a quality late model ride. Because I can relate, because I worked or learned from high quality drivers and chassis men like a Wayne Brooks, Kelly Shryock, Mark Noble, Rex Merritt, and the list goes on. Aside from the fact I am an actual experienced automotive mechanic by trade and got a college degree. And only had one person attempt to offer me a contract for $50,000.00 a year to crew chief their car. Besides the driver (John Potter) in my TH-cam profile picture asked if I would be willing to consider coming to help him out. Which he has Terry Downing (next to John the driver in my profile picture) a former driver three sons, and tons of other people who come to hangout and he is asking me to come help him again. So my point is I totally get that Mr Harrison could have waited this long for a quality late model ride. Which it is definitely a shame that he had to wait that long for someone to realize that about a person.
I think this is one of the most underrated dirt late model channels here on youtube if you look at the amount of subscribers, cause the content with Daryn and also the content wth the 33 car is first class in my opinion. In the shop videos it could be a little bit more explaining here and there on what you are actually working on - I know fine line cause the competitors are watching - but if someone is not familiar with dirt late models, maybe not so easy to understand. I´m used to this kind of racecars, so good for me... I like to know, No33 is a 22 Rocket with a Durham Engine, Ford based I suppose right ? The No10 is also a Rocket, how old ? with a Cornet Motor, how old ? As I know Cornet is Ford based I´m quite sure, right ? How much cubic inches does the Durham and the Cornet have ? If you want to keep this secret no problem, I´m just interested. Thanks... and Good Luck for all that´s (as subsrcriber hopefully) happens in 2023 Greetings Gregor
Thank you sir. We will keep trying our best to grow the channel. The 10 car is a 2019 Rocket XR1 with a 410 CI motor originally built by Durham. The motor in the 33 car is a 445 CI. I have several ideas for in depth videos of the winter that Daryn and I are going to make. Thank you for your comments.
Big fan of Mike Harrison it's about time a late model ride came his way.
It's great to see Mike in a super dirt late model, been a long time coming. He'll learn to keep the rears hot.

Hard to believe that with all the years he has been racing he is just now getting an opportunity in a quality late model ride.

The Legend Randy Korte!
Harrison is damn sure a wheelman. Being the way he likes the high side, I'd love to see him in a sprint car. Y'all take care.
By the way the best MLRA late model race I have ever seen was Terry Phillips vs Freddy Smith in 1996 at Joplin 66 Raceway.
I just found your channel looks cool.
