Gaea has been in a few of these. And seeing as the earth mother / goddess persona predates all other current religions that choice is probably for the best. She doesn't represent any current religions nor is the concept offensive or foreign to most so is a better choice than whatever Scientologists believe in or his most high Noodliness. I agree. What was especially disappointing was how the story began to repeat itself about halfway through. But I also did not like how open-ended the ending was, leaving on a silly cliffhanger.

It is clear that the author put some editing into it, but not anything sufficient. In my original post I didn't want to put more effort into my post than the author put into his/her editing.
