I've been noticing a pattern that extends to all games. People that hate tutorials also seem to have the hardest time with games and hate on them the most if they're "too difficult" because there are mechanics they don't understand (obviously).
As a person with functional braincells (even tho there's only 2 of them), all these negative reviews feels like an insult to human capabilities to think and adapt.
Feel excited? I too. It can't be helped since Kal'tsit talks you down like that. Though I really don't mind her adding some punches or kicks, you know. I wonder how good it would feel~~
4* Reviews in the RU region of the playmarket: "The game is good, but there is no Russian language. It's hard to play without it." The translator doesn't exist in the lives of these people🐒
2:40 Okay listen, he’s obviously ranting but mans got a point, it was an absolute nightmare back then with the base, and we still don’t have one tap base rotations. Albeit with all the rants including the fail auto deployment, it seems more like trying to nitpick. But if auto deploy fail, level up the operators because it might be rng based due to their low stats.
They at least did the "trust tap all" button but it's true that changing the operators might be a hassle but at the same time, you can't just automatise just everything, which requires some degree of organisation. And also about the auto deploy, because it's actually interesting. It's like a new layer of gameplay and just a part of arknights. Though they made skipping anni possible so... at least there are other missions. Ahh, I still remember OD-8 quite the auto deploy killer.
@@Sueros I think what can be done is you get to build kind of like a “rotation/loadout” for the entire base, and can swap at the click of a button. So say the first rotation would put Texas/Exu/Lapp into the trading post, and the second would put them into the dorms while putting a different trio into the post. This makes it so that you only need to press a button to swap out all your distracted operators back and forth much faster.
I'm sure that the annihilation auto deploy fail is because when they 1st clear it, the lineup is not too strong, just enough to do it, when they leveled up the operators in the lineup and upgrade theirs skills, the enemies get killed faster so next wave spawn faster => When the big waves come, the skills haven't cooled down yet or not being activated in the right time => stage fail because they didn't have the burst damage from the skills to clear that wave
What I did for simplifying base management operator swapping is just swap for trade stations, factory and HRD. No operator is placed on reception room (once reached endgame, I don't bother with clues), powerplant (rarely using any drones, and even then it's just for instantly make chips), workshop (rarely used and even then I don't really care about byproduct) and control center is basically R6 operators+amiya forever. I'm more of a casual player with patience. I don't really care about base skills and just swap whoever available to save time. At most, this only involves 19 operators out of 20 dorm slots (the last one is always at full morale unless I'm specializing skills) That being said I do wish there's 1-click instant swap of operators In the base
It’s understandable to be frustrated with how slow the game progresses is due to lack of operators to use and how much content you can clear because of being gate kept by stamina usage and operator versatility. However, I can’t take any of these reviews seriously because they’re a bunch of wimpy children who dove into a game aspect they clearly knew they wouldn’t enjoy, and then didn’t take the time or effort to look online or ask around for help from a generous community as a last ditch effort. Even I admit that for the longest time, I could not clear Frostnova for what felt like ages, and even went on a hiatus for a while because of that, but I didn’t just quit. As someone who used to be a free-to-play player, the aspect that let me down the most was knowing that I wouldn’t be able to play with all the amazing kind of operators due to gacha. However, that should be expected, and anybody complaining about the gacha aspect should be ashamed of themselves for not knowing this when it should’ve been obvious.
I am f2p for 3 years and it might get rough at some points but isn't it also exciting? This is one of the reasons why I play it. Also, I think the gacha system is really good, in some ways, and I have nothing to complain on that part.
For FrostNova the first time I met her I just borrowed support Surtr and passed in first try, albeit only 2 stars. Later I just solo'ed her again with blue woman (Ling)
@@HMN134 I struggled a lot during the time chapter 5 and 6 were out, the support feature wasn’t as good as it is now. Not to mention that the best operators you could borrow at the time were Exu and Schwarz. Nowadays, you can borrow some of the best operators that make the stage look like a joke compared to how gruesome it was way back.
I played PGR again recently, and i really like how they implement the grinding method of 1 continuous run instead of restarting the stage after its done. What if instead of clearing a stage multiple times, you only need to clear it once, and then spend the appropriate amount of sanity to get that much reward. Example: say the stage needs 30 sanity. I play a stage once, spend 120 sanity and then i get 4x the reward. That could lessen the frustration of some people when farming mats or currency
