Aphro inspired me to go full-on in shotcalling as a Support, more than any other roles I played. He's really inspiring, and fun-loving as well, I must agree. He even taught me to be more humble as a Summoner, even in Ranked games. I'd like to be cooler and calmer. Thanks, Aphro.

this is the classic perceived "betrayal" by a friend to pursue becoming better. I honestly do not think Aphro would have done this to any other ADC. Doublelift didn't have to worry if he didn't play in CLG. He was good enough and popular enough to join another team, genuinely think Aphro considered Double a friend that could survive by himself. This clearly should've been done professionally and with NDAs but drama is drama.
i dont really think that an adc like doublelift can achieve something by himself. He is a hyper carry, he demands a lot not only from his support but also from his jungler too. that kind of persons are hard to deal with. I totally agree with the decision to kick out doublelift. It was better with doublelift too because he understood that he was no more in his babybed waiting to be fed by his team while he was on tsm which is built mainly on bjerg.
@@fevo20 you may be right about the rest, trashtalking tho, thats a good sport, as long as you do it BEFORE the game (which is his case) If you win you prove your point, and if you lose the trashtalk backfires and people go at you. Its just part of any sport, and as long as its done before the game I think it fuels competition and it can be a possitive thing
God damn I miss Doublelift and Aphromoo so much. I've been a CLG fan since the beginning and I'm so nostalgic for that Era of the team. I'd love to see the return of one or both of them to the team. They may have had issues in the past but I bet because of their age and experience they'd work together much better now. Definitely a pipe dream but it would be incredible

Its more about semantics, even though those players did prove themselves, it was with another team, as good as the player is he may work different with other teammates and a different organization. An example Sven and Mithy won 4 titles in a row with G2 in Europe, still, when they moved to TSM, the roster as a whole was still unproven (and they didnt prove too much tbh) So there you have it, its not bad journalism, its a bad understanding of semantics by your part. it would be amazing to see rush hour reform. Doublelift has mellowed down a lot since then and they are both looking strong. If Aphromoo were to join liquid somehow, Liquid would be unstoppable
you need to change if you want to see if something works, the departure of doublelift could open up more plays on mid and top from aphro, by kicking your own star off the team, you can get better plays overall, sadly for clg it did not work out that well. Clg is still my favorite NA lcs team due to them seeing the power that a god tier toplaner can bring them. and im not talking about darshan. I'd love to see apho and rekkles together, i think it might even work with forgiven.
