    This worked exceptionally well on the 1st attempt. Mine is a little crooked but has that super satisfying snap and a snug fit. Thanks for sharing. It's a great design. I would share a pic if I could.

    FANTASTIC video. I have overlooked the full capability of a Dremel and directed heat for working Kydex. I think this sort of project would be a great one to use thin sheet craft foam for working out the pattern.

    Well done! I just did a google search of flashlight holsters. To scan the pictures of which ones I thought would work best for me, and ended up straight here.

    That's such a great idea. I'm going to be using a duty belt in my new job and this will really help as I have a few things I want to carry that aren't standard issue such as my ecig and a decent flashlight.

    Dramatic music. Thought we was cutting out a crucifix to fight off vampires. Haha.
    Awesome idea!

    Your creativity is fantastic. You could make a lot of $$$ making these quick release holsters for the Olight WARRIOR MINI2 flashlight. Especially if you put a small hole in the bottom so you can tell if the light is on by accident. There is a BIG market for ANY holster that fits the WARRIOR MINI 2 (preferably lens down). Blessings Friend.

    Just my opinion of course, but after you do your layoyt, why not use tinsnips to cut your shape out ? It would make cleaning and dressing the edges a LOT easier. Just a thought

    +CommonSenseOutdoors - Thanks for taking the time to make this video! It's an awesome design! Any recommendations on kydex thickness and where to source it? Thanks again!

    • @CommonSenseOutdoors
      @CommonSenseOutdoors  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thick is better for this situation. Think .08 or .09 is what I used. Kydex can be found pretty easy, I think you can get a 12" square off Ebay for a few dollars. One square will make about 3 of these if cut right. Thank you for watching.

      CommonSenseOutdoors - Thank you for the info! I really like your design and "common sense" (see what I did there?) approach.

    Can you do a kydex holster for Nitecore TM03, but the opening should be on the side (front facing) so when you pull the light towards where you face and not on the side( sideward direction ). How much will it cost with that design? Your design when pulling the light is on your right side, the one that I suggest is the opening located on the side (front area) where you are facing. Hope you can do some sample and I believe that it is very good especially when drawing the light from the holster.

      With this video I only intended to show what I came up with for a flashlight holster, I do not make these for sale. Thank you for watching.

      I admire you have the skill and ability to make a flashlight holster. Thanks for the bright idea and sharing. Hope you can sell to someone in need of that kind of holster in the future.

      There are many kydex product makers that can make this for you. Go see Matt at Grizzly Outdoors. He makes amazing kydex products and he has seen this video, just tell him what you want and I am sure he can help you.

    • @CommonSenseOutdoors
      @CommonSenseOutdoors  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty sure this was .80, it needs to be thick and sturdy for this particular project. Thank you for your comments and welcome to the channel, I hope you enjoy.

    Try using a sheet metal hand break to use in flaring tip from another kydex guy
    any home center has them in area where they keep duct supplies
