- We think these are the world's best front-loading electric cargo bikes. Options include full-suspension, high-speed and tons of cargo carrying options. Brett Thurber and Karen Wiener, co-founders of The New Wheel, present the features, configuration options, and highlights proving why you can't ignore these compelling cargo bikes from Riese & Muller.
having the kid in the cargo basket is so cute.
I love this cargo bike. I think I need this in my life.
Nice video guys, one of the most informative and concise videos on cargo bikes I've seen.
Looks perfect for a dog!
Definitely
@@thenewwheel Are there any box customizations that might help an older/bigger dog get in and out? Open side door, ramp, something like that?
Tricia Mangan Great Question. The short answer is that there isn’t anything that comes from Riese & Müller, but I can imagine making a simple ramp that could just be stuck in the box when out and about.
i'm suffering from new product envy by the bucket full
Your a star organization of the highest magnitude
Hi, can you tell me how much higher the step frame of the load is compared to the packster?

how much for this bike
Hello Jose. These bikes range from around $5k up to $7k depending on the configuration.
The New Wheel Electric Bikes thanks for the information
Does the bike come completely assembled and ready to ride from factory or does it need to be assembled at the store.
Not completely assembled. We spend around 2 hours per bike with tuning and assembly.

The future for people who have lots of money.
Certainly much more affordable than an automobile that can achieve the same! Thanks for your comment!
People without money are the ones that need this.
Wow lots of “volunteer” commenters.
lol the bike looks great, but it does nothing to prevent crime from taking parts from it... you would run less risks by using a inexpensive moped... I mean the battery, wheels and other parts are just way to exposed... there is no place to keep that thing safe in this planet...
Not true. We have been selling nice electric bicycles in San Francisco for 7 years now, and with a good locking solution you don't have to worry. For total peace of mind you can buy insurance.
The battery on most ebikes Bosch/Yahmaha use a key to lock to battery in place. But at the end of the day a moped is just a stealable if you have a pickup truck handy.
spoken like a criminal...I wouldn't worry about it...bring a chain and lock it up.
If you place a motorcycle all-weather cover over it then you might not have to worry about that as much, as a normal thief would view it as a difficult thing to steal so would usually not go for such a thing
