Hello Mark. Excellent video. I'm on the process of acquiring either a Blofeld Keyboard version or a Sledge 2; but I'm somewhat indecisive on which one. I enjoy the layout of the sledge but also enjoy the rooting capabilities of the Blofeld [needs a fair bit of menu diving and patience...].I will use either to play some pads as background motif and some odd sounds here and there, but I'm mainly a guitar and bass player. Which one would you suggest? Be well.
@@SouthShoreSonics Is it true that the mod wheel and the aftertouch essentially function as the same modulation/effect? If this is true, it is very unfortunate (to say...not be able to route filter depth to one, and lfo depth or PWM to the other). Also Is there any chance you would be willing to post a link to download "Init" blank patches for the hidden functions for those of us that do not own both units?
+Mark Pigott Right , do you think that my blofeld module can do this too via usb? I ordered a Sledge, do'nt have it yet. And I have this Kenton midi usb host. The midi settings are they just standard ? Could you do this with a midi controller when you look up the CC values?
Don Durrance How do you plan to integrate them both into your setup? I sold mine and I’m missing it dearly but I’m considering buying the Sledge instead.

Does the Sledge have different effects than the Blofeld? The chorus on the Sledge seems to be better.
I like the chorus better on the Sledge as well. I do not think they are quite the same.
Can i modify the ARPEGGIATOR on the Sledge like in the Blofeld?????

Since the sledge has the Blofeld engine, would I make sense for me t get the Blofeld, if I already down the sledge 2.0?
Spend less, buy Omnisphere because it has a preset just for the Sledge.
It is far more than just keymapping, watch the Sonic state video on it.
Is the Sample memory on the Sledge the same size as the blofeld if you have spectre ?
I believe the RAM is the same, about 60M or so IIRC
Why not record direct out? Kind of defeats the purpose of a comparison video if you can't hear it like that. Otherwise good video.

even if this video is 1 year old, why the heck own 3 blofelds? cant even afford even one :D
They're really cost effective for what they do. I'm working on my second one :)
