As much I know Bandhan bank ka NIM sabse jyada 8% k aas paas hai. ICICI, Axis, Kotak NIM are just around or below 4%. I am not bothered about other smaller banks or PSU banks. Thanks for your nice teachings.
Presentation was awesome sir you have my utmost respect , I just want to ask a question that Npa of hdfc is less than Kotak which means the management of HDFC BANK is able and lending Most of their money to the people which has the ability to return money comparatively than kotak so wouldnt that make a difference to them because 10 yr cagr of kotak is 5% less than HDFC bank?

Hi @SOIC, @20:41 , Can you help explain what is the difference between 1. Yield on total interest -Earnings asset Vs. Yield on Advances 2. Cost of Funds Vs. Cost of Deposits
Hey i couldn't understand the calculation ( time : 24:07) part where u tell about financial leverage of lehman bros. I had 1 re of equity. 44 re of assets against that equity. And from that 44 re, My NPA was of Re 2.25. I couldn't understand how multiplying these two would result in destroying my equity.

Good information. But nowadays banks are earning good income from non-core banking activities. Can you please explain how to consider this income while studying bank stocks. Also what is the right method of finding intrinsic / fair value of a bank stock.
no one is expert in market you just have to keep tracking and invest when the things change, for example PSU Bank index has given 500% return since this video 🤣
Doubt : Provision Coverage Ration what is the benefit of keeping aside profit against bad loans? I mean, if 100 crs of loans are given, 20crs have not returns HDFC says 15Crs wont come back, provision=15Crs IndusInd says 5Crs wont come back, provision=5Crs but IndusInd will try to get other 15Crs by either giving the lender some time to return it back or will not keep the profit aside against the bad loans and use the profits to grow their business I would want to know more about it..!! Thanks In Advance.!! Hare Krishna..!!🙏

I do have a question. Do you prefer to value banks using multiples mentioned in this slide or you use fcfe or ddm to arrive at the value?
Thanks Shruti :)

Thanks for your nice teachings.
It's due to the nature of the lending. Bandhan does microfinance, which is riskier in nature. Don't just fall for high Nims :)
@@SOICfinance Thanks for your valuable suggestions!
@@SOICfinance Why microfinance is riskier? Basically it is less riskier than corporate loan
