Yellow might indicate sulphur. If so, that'll make for sulphur dioxide in the clouds, which comes down as sulfuric acid or acid rain. Ya just gotta love it. Meanwhile, where are the feds ? Oh, that's right, they're out campaigning.
Where is the governor and state officials? Perhaps, campaign donations went to them so they are not reacting. Kemp is right there in Atlanta. He’s been awfully silent.
City hall opens tomorrow at 8 AM and WE NEED TO TO UP THERE AND DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY FROM CONYERS/ ROCKDALE COUNTY! They’ve allowed a toxic chemical facility with piss poor standards to operate and have SERIOUS mishaps over 20 YEARS!!!! People with drip like flies within 10 years because of THEM!!!!
I live in Stockbridge and feel very sick. My eyes are burning, My head is killing me! I am 25 minutes from the fire and feel these symptoms. My Niece and her husband just bought a home in the Conyers area. They cannot even go home nor feel safe when they do! Everyone in Georgia is breathing this Chemical Air!
It's psychological. Tell yourself you're fine and you will be. This literally isn't the first time this has happened. I'm not being condescending you just don't like not getting attention over things that are international news and happened "near" you. You're 18 miles slightly south west from Conyers, the airborn ppm is less than that of a pool.
Seems they're just waiting for the reaction to stop on its own & have no successful means of stopping it. You'd think a company handling tons of chemicals would have some sort of worst case scenario in place, but obviously they didn't.
Working there as security, am sure they did but it's prolly due to incompetence it's how it is with these types of companies and industries unfortunately.
I agree and want to stay as far away as they can The locals are speaking and people has not heard one time how to resolve this People are still coming to the job because they can't have the time off or they are not compensated for lost wages People say living like this is horrible We have a lot of people living there that it haven't hit the area yet where I live that work here So Sad
Crazy that I used to work there and this happened. Hope everyone's alright. Knew something was up about the clouds, even if things are "okay" those chemical can still be carried up into the atmosphere.
@@ysf-psfx I'd like to answer that but I was security guard at the front gate. Not an employee of Biolabs. But I do remember doing a tour whatnot. They did have tons of palettes of products I'm sure are very very volatile and flammable and someone made a big mistake.
The sunset last night in Lawrenceville, there was a distinct difference in the color of the clouds. The top portion of the clouds were white and the bottom had a yellow tinge to it. I took a picture of it because I knew it wasn’t part of the normal sunset colors. I felt pretty certain it was chemicals from that plant, being that we were smelling chlorine all the way out here the day after it happened
Wow. I'm in Augusta and yesterday my mom said why is the sky yellow during the sunset. And it was only yellow in Atlantas direction. I hope it's not over here.... Dealing with the hurricane. No power. We're outside breathing in the air.
As a search and rescue supervisor for a large fire department I called it the other day with the white being white is chlorine and the yellow is going to turn up as sulfur I have seen this kind of smoke before for the last 40 years I have been with the departments in different states
Don’t forget this started because of fire on the roof. Most likely caused by a malfunctioning Air Conditioner or Purifier. That’s not the same as them being negligent. I’m not saying they shouldn’t have had better conditions in the facility, but it is a fact that any court would take into account.
We need better regulations in place to keep things like this from happening. This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened. Where will the next BioLab or toxic chemical spill be?
Have that company held accountable to move these people in another area paying for this transition! Couldn't believe they have them shelter in place what a joke & these people will have long term sickness for years with actions. Hold them accountable, dont rely on Fema look @ Tennesee North Carolina & other people who have lost lives & everything. God bless youall dont trust anyone tellin you its OK to shelter in place! God bless youall.

A better question would be “where is the governor?”
that's what I was thinking
Consoling the executives on missed opportunity and bonuses!
Should the State request the assistance of the CDC, they are a short drive away. You might reflect a moment on why that has not happened.
Where is the governor and state officials? Perhaps, campaign donations went to them so they are not reacting. Kemp is right there in Atlanta. He’s been awfully silent.
Hydrochloric acid, used to etch concrete and metal! Chlorine gas, used as poison gas in WWI! Just nothing to freak out about.

They do executives live very far away!
Exactly…they should know how to manage these chemicals better than this!

I don't live near Conyers but officials saying it's all clear, you should be ashamed of yourselves gaslighting the people that live and work there.

As in it’s mustard gas now?

Who did the deregulations for these companies to have no accountability?
Trump that's who
My daughter lives in Bethlehem, GA and her air purifier is detecting a foreign chemical.
Yeah, that looks safe.
They need to build emergency tents like they during the pandemic. People shouldn’t be locked up in this plume to marinate.

Why are people guessing what the chemical mixture could be. GET SOME OSHA PEOPLE IN THERE NOW!
Mustard gas?
Leave fhe entire area!🙏🏽
This is not going to be good. Id bet it has not rained yet.
Where is the MSDS?
Wtf?
Chlorine gas is yellow.
Is it safe to exercise outdoors? We're around HWY 212.
If you have to ask, my guess would be NO
