Thanks for the stream. The perfect thing for a sunday evening. I was taught, initiated and given a mantra by a student of Swami Rama of the Himalayas. It has been a great journey for me. Are you familiar with Swami Rama? What do you think of him?
@@venkatrammahadevan9652 Bhakti Yoga is the systematic process by which we awaken our natural devotional consciousness toward the Lord. Sharanagati (self-surrender), on the other hand, is the internal mode by which we freely choose to cultivated the state of full self-surrender to the Lord. The former is the systematic process by which we cultivate the internal state of the latter.

Namaste Belinda. Followers of Sanatana Dharma are guided spiritually and philosophically by the most ancient and comprehensive scriptures in the world, known as the Veda Shastra. These scriptures are termed apaurusheya, or non-manmade. Thus, our scriptures are a perfect reflection of eternal Truth. There is no legitimate spiritual idea, teaching, philosophy or practice that is not already contained in the Vedic literature to its full perfection, development and depth. The scriptures of all of the much later religions, while appreciated for whatever little good may be contained within them, are considered to be extremely poor substitutes for the perfect representation of eternal sound vibration that is found in the Vedas. The Old Testament, specifically, is considered to be primarily anti-Dharmic in its contents (as is also the case for the Quran). Of the New Testament, the only parts that are considered to be of significant value are the direct teachings and examples of the life of Jesus that are found in the Gospels. To insist that we, as followers of the unique and ancient religious tradition of Sanatana Dharma must accept the scriptures of other religions against our will is akin to insisting that other religions must be forced to accept the validity of our scriptures against their will and conscience. No one following a specific religious tradition should ever be forced to accept the validity of any other set of scriptures not their own against their will. To do so is oppressive and disrespectful. Hopeful this answers your question. Aum Shanti.

@@DharmaNation I had this same question. Thank you for clarifying!
I don't believe in anyother so called religion after searching so much only sanatan dharma is true but in Kaliyuga everything is going against it
