  • Where is the silver NA1 Acura NSX, from Quentin Tarantino's 1994 cult classic film Pulp Fiction, now? I am a big fan of his movies and work. Kill Bill is one of my favorite movies.
    In this video, we try to find as much information about it as we can.

    It’s probably has car phone due to extra antennae on the glass hatch. To help narrow it down further.

      I thought that but wasn’t sure. Thanks for that information.

    I think it might be possible that it was loaned from a dealership, I think that's a solid theory. An aftermarket exhaust could have been fitted in the 30 years of the cars ownership, and even possibly had a crack in the center piece that ended up being replaced? I think black/silver, automatic with a phone is gonna be a pretty rare combo. Wonder if there is a way to trace VIN numbers to areas of the country/dealers. Cool things to think about anyway, nice vid! :)

      Thanks! So many possible theories. One thing I know is that if someone knew they owned that car, they would not modify it. A car like that at an auction can go for a lot. I have been to many auctions and no one single person would burn money like that. Movie cars are cared for with intention.

    I agree it doesn't make sense for the car to have been painted. And, regardless of the weight transfer theory, it makes sense for it to be an automatic and not a stick (for instance the Ferris Bueller Ferrari was a replicar with an auto cuz Matthew Broderick couldn't drive stick). The light interior theory is great--not totally convinced by the imagery that's a bit tricky to see--but my production chart shows just 3 '91 Sebring over auto cars were produced. Period. No other silver NA1's had that trifecta of combinations. Narrowing it down to 3 possibilities in 1 model year is pretty good odds!

      I am with it, I looked at the seats for a long time. I can be the light reflection but they definitely look lighter. 🙂😀

    Looking at the color chart of all 8949 Acura NSX's produced here are the numbers.
    1991 Sebring Silver on Black 276 M trans & 34 A trans. Sebring Silver on Ivory 6 M trans & 3 A trans
    1992 Sebring Silver on Black 103 M trans & 14 A trans. Sebring Silver on Ivory 0 made that year
    1993 Sebring Silver on Black 26 M trans & 5 A trans. Sebring Silver on Ivory 0 made that year
    My guess is its 1 of 56 Auto trans made between 1991-1993. Being a film and my opinion most actors don't normally drive manual trans cars.

      Awesome info! I could be wrong about the seat color but the automatic transmission might be accurate.

    You make mention that it's likely a light color interior color car (Ivory/Tan), but I thought the bottom part of the door cards matched the interior color. Or, were there some with a full black door card?

    • @DriversTherapy
      @DriversTherapy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you are correct, someone mentioned that too and I am not sure. A solid question.

      Yeah, I was thinking that too. Every one I've seen for sale online with ivory interior has the lower part of the door panels and speaker grill in ivory, and the contrast between that and the black of the panel above it would have been visible when they opened the doors to get in.

    Maybe to check the colour of the car to see if it’s post edit. Just edit the colour of the backlights to match another gray one. Then check if the car colour also matches?

      I tried but was not very successful. Just got a dark image. Not very experienced with that stuff either.

    If this car was owned by Glenn Braggs MLB player then I just acquired it from CA

    Great research. It's possible (likely) the CA plate may be a movie tag. If not, I'd think someone in the community with a law enforcement hook could cross-reference the plate to a VIN. Just a thought.

    • @DriversTherapy
      @DriversTherapy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Thank you. For what I read, the plate was a Hollywood number for movies.

      Thanks for the recommendation but tons of articles and research done by people hasn’t lead to a VIN yet.

    not always with people knowing they have a movie car. there' s a collector who buys up Fast and furious cars and he has tracked down multiple cars where the current owner had no idea it was a car used in fast and furious and he can confirm that because there is a complete VIN list of all cars used in the movie that circulates around the guys who hunt for those cars.

    • @DriversTherapy
      @DriversTherapy  ปีที่แล้ว

      True but that guy doesn’t have the PF car. Not one single artifact or documentation. I don’t buy it. That car would be worth a lot and if one believed they had it, they would back trace it. That guy is blowing smoke. But you right about other instances. This world revolves around money, no one would ignore or not dig it the backstory if they truly believed they owned a special Hollywood car. 🙂
