This is a deeply meaningful song - we all had no idea how close Freddie was to death when this was recorded. The story is he took a swig of whiskey in the studio, then recorded the vocals in one take, using every inch of energy left in his body at that time. Tragic, but epic at the same time

So very true. I wrote A Memoir on the last days of his life and it was so sad. Nobody had any idea how badly his health had deteriorated in the last six months of his life because he kept it will behind closed doors, which is a shame because the world deserved a chance to say goodbye to him, his music is still Timeless today!
