Also if that were the case BF probably would've noticed it too. Yourself was actively having a mental breakdown, so the chances that he noticed and BF didn't is pretty slim.
Honestly it seems like herself dosnt want yourself to return to his old world, it seems more like she knows that bf can help yourself heal and stay… uhh, somewhat sane in her absence, sorta like trying to help him :3

They're both canonically the same height, bf is canonically 7 ft tall. The chibi style symbolizes that he's acting as a child. Innocent and childish, so when silly billy takes on the chibi artstyle it's because in those moments he is also acting childish
