- In the wake of Saturday's assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, former U.S. Secret Service Special Agent Charles Marino says the Secret Service “owns” this failure and must “take the hit." Marino said the director of Secret Service has made “far too many” statements that are “contradictory.” Marino is also calling for the secretary of Homeland Security to step down.

They were ordered to stand down 100%.
If they didn’t have adequate resources there then that place shouldn’t have been selected.
This whole thing is absurd. There's no excuse for it. There's no version of reality in which that position should have been left accessible to anyone.
They noticed the boy an hour before, with a rangefinder, found him suspicious and called it in, even took a pic of him. Than there were snipers IN the building where he climbed on the roof on, the snipers inside noticed the boy as well, they saw him checking out the roof!! They decided to take a photo of the boy as well.... but he was still able to climb a ladder and crawl on the roof, where people noticed him and kept screaming to get attention from police and security. One cop, with the help of another cop on his shoulder, looked on the roof and saw the boy, boy saw him too, aimed rifle, and the cop backed of, boy stayed calm and still had the chance to aim and shoot, while it also seemed clear that the counter snipers had him in sight as well, but just waited for the boy to open fire.... Come on...they can not be THAT incompetent....so...make your own conclusions....

Wrong, the roof was covered by a Police Sniper. The sniper saw the gunman and only shot after Trump was shot. Why did the Police Snipers stand down? Were they directed to stand down by superiors? Via an earpiece?

There was an officer that went up there on the roof alone and the guy pointed the gun at him and he ran and climbed off the roof. And people were yelling there’s a man on the roof. Something is just not right with this situation and what DT said before he went there. So get this cleared up. Something is j😢not right.

I heard secret service knew an hour before that there was a suspicious person. Aren't rooftops normally covered by secret service or whoever? I mean you think the kid would have gone up in a tree to do this. I don't know.
