@@pawantur8601 Vajpayi did try but Modi didn't respond to IK's multiple gestures and missed an opportunity in my opinion, because at the time in 2018, there was a rare civil-military cohesion in Pakistan and progress could be made.

Mate, just look at the number of successful Muslims worldwide originating from Pakistan (despite all its flaws) and India and you will get your answer. It was military which stopped Pakistan from being talibanized during Ayub's time. Have ever asked why only religious societies have dictatorships??? because religion is an easy shortcut to gain legitimacy for a leader. It is the pakistan population belief that religion is the basis, that is the problem - and that belief was ingrained by partition based on religion. that is the original sin. Pakistan as a country cannot progress until this sin is acknowledged.
@@truthmatters-tr8if mate, the world didn't start in 1947. You are discarding all the history where Empires prospered for centuries which were based on religion. This nation state concept enacted after the second world war may have its benefits but it is making the world a place where less and less people follow religion. This is going to be disastrous for humanity.
Now to your point of dictatorship and religion, you may do well if you do some research on the state of Madina, which is origin and reference point for Muslims, it was not based on dictatorship, but was rather a form of democracy. It prospered to the extent that it changed history in a very short span of time.
Problem is not religion, but rather misuse of religion for power. This is something happening all over, including both India and Pakistan.
