as a paksitani we have to consider multiple translations in urdu so that we might not get biased but get the true meaning. I wish someone had told me earlier And I would have learned arabic.

This reminds me of the other day, even as I write this, the eyes full up. I was in a market place in Morocco, it was busy , hustle and bustle. All of a sudden I hear and see this old man, about my nans age. Reciting in this majawwad style. It was if my heart and chest found rest amidst the nonsense. I could physically feel something and also anxiety was leaving my body. This is the word of our creator. FACT

No one like minshawi style.
I think they just had a different style of recitation. While Qari Minshawi and Qari Abdul Basit are in a league of their own, Sheikh Yasser or Sheikh Sudais definitely are a few of the top modern day qaris. 50 years later the next generation will argue that there is no one like sheikh yasser😄😄. So we should be happy with a touch of a fingertip we can listen to any qari we want and therefore appreciate them all.
