Amazing, ThankhU. Eye had the Honor of witnessing U performing this Play once in Boston, Ma , when Eye was a teenager in middle/high school with my theater class. It was life changing for me. Eye was soul moved, and cried and laughed thru-out your transportation from soul to soul. U left a powerful voice of have compassion, have integrity, be a humanitarian and Appreciate your story. That Is my strongest memory of you and your work. ThankhU for The Light you share with soul many of us. Ase Ase Ase 💚

This short excerpt is edited strangely and does not address the play she is talking about, the groundbreaking "Fires in the Mirror." " It explores the viewpoints of people from Black and Hasidic Jewish people based in New York City who were connected directly and indirectly to the Crown Heights riot that occurred in Crown Heights, Brooklyn in August 1991." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fires_in_the_Mirror. The painful point that jumps out the most is how blind and complacent, even the supposedly woke folks of NY theater, people were re: systematic racism of our country.

Ironic at 0:50 since she encountered a character named Joanne Akalitus since she played a a character named Gloria Akalitus on Nurse Jackie from 2009-2015
