- Prior to the 2019 CP3 Celebrity Invitational, a Mini Clash was held to determine the final participant in the Celebrity Clash. Featuring reigning Teen Masters champions Tom Hankey Jr. and Jenna Williams, Parker Bohn III's sons Justin and Brandon Bohn, PWBA Tour rookie Gazmine Mason and PBA Tour champion D.J. Archer.

A single elimination strike competition is hardly a determination of overall skill.

The Legendary E all competitors are 18 and below. By definition youth bowlers.

Well turn on the world series of Bowling this week, and you'll see Rafiq Ismail, among many 20 year old pba bowlers. Simonsen, Tackett, Svensson, Kent, Teece, Novak, these are all young payers who were pba tour members at 18-19 years old. Bowling in tournaments with pba50 players Barnes, Williams Jr, Monacelli, Duke... That's just how it goes.
I see Kramer destroying all the kids in martial arts class until they gang up and whoop on him.
It's amazing that Tom can get as many revolutions that even the top two-handers get sometimes. I love this new technology being implemented, it gives a lot more in-depth statistics. Wish Ii could use this when I'm bowling lol
the rev rate measurement is very inaccurate. tom's rev rate is high but it's not over 500.
@@odellus Damn. I was thinking maybe it was wrong. I was hoping maybe he had more side to side so the ball skid more than it hooked, which is why the reaction looked so subtle.
@@odellus Yeah, no way is he putting as many revs on the ball as Robert Smith, Osku Palermaa and Jason Belmonte. Hes probably upper 400s
Mason is going to win many tournaments. She throws it quite nice.

Maybe, but they've been using it for like, six weeks now with the PBA events they've been televizing.

Jerry Alexander hard to tell from that the amount of oil laid down and it does look very dry on the outside.
I’m really having a hard time seeing how one girl is putting in over 400 revs as well as the other girl at over 350. Not trying to be biased but I don’t know. Seems like DJ Archers rev rate was way lower than expected too.
Rev rate shmev rate. Those graphics on the side are like glowing lines following a hockey puck. Get them out of here... for the love of God who gives a shit! The revs are estimated anyway, if it mattered.

I would guess the person that is doing the graphics is watching the TV camera we see, and it's impossible to see the 10 pin as the shot track is blocking it.

bosoxdanc I think so, too. Also, that camera angle needs to die in a fire. I have always hated that down lane camera angle in bowling coverage. What viewer who takes bowling seriously wants to see that angle?
I see Gazmine likes the superhero motifs for her bowling shirts.🧐 The last time I saw her bowl she had the "Black Panther" motif shirt. 😃👍🏾
Does anyone know who Gazmine is bowling in the super clash? I couldn't find a list of the bowlers anywhere.
Gazmine joins the celebrity clash with Chris Paul, P.J. Tucker, Bun B, Terrell Owens, Mookie Betts, Aric Almirola, Tyler Crispen, and William Jackson III.

I think Gazmine is going to have a very long and successful career on the PWBA tour.
She has some serious skills. She might have a shot to beat the guys

The second and third 2 last kids r definitely related 2 parker bohn the 3rd especially Brandon he bowls almost identical to parker

Yeah. Brandon's a good bowler and all, bu he doesn't have over 500 revs.
It's almost like the speedometer at most the houses I've bowled at, it's so hit or miss that theres no telling what the actual speed is. I've had mine read mid 16s and then the next time I bowl its reading mid 19s, makes no sense at all, especially when I'm rolling the ball pretty much exactly the same each time

Why was the pro there with the children but gazmine did good she’s gonna make it far and she is very pretty and a constant bowler I like her Spider-Man shirt and her bowl matches her colors

Some of these teens grew up doing this. They have all the animal pattern at local houses so they know what to expect.

How'd they choose bowlers for this? Just a strange selection. 2 pros, 3 major youth tournament winners, and Justin? Curious to know.
I understand Gazmine. She was a PWBA rookie. The youth were Teen Masters bowlers, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why they put DJ Archer in there. I was pulling for Brandon or Justin, but glad DJ did not win it.
GG was PWBA, Justin and Brandon were PB3 kids (Brandon I think might’ve won JV teen masters that year) Tom and the other girl won teen masters that year, DJ was put in because some years they have a pro bowl in the celebrity clash (Rhino Page did it one year)

I really hope to see the first girl in the show in the future. The PBA show needs more talents and most of all, a greater variety of players, as it has become some sort of homogen pool of players.
You do understand they go through qualifying in order to make a show right? They aren’t just chosen.
What do you mean by that? A field of 100+ bowlers of all ages, ethnicities and genders bowl in qualifying rounds, then the top 16 are pit against each other in best of 5 match play, then the top 5 make the finals.

I understand that they are kids, but so am I. I live in nj, like them, and I bowl against them all the time. Brandon is nice but Justin is very cocky and it is not fun to bowl with him.

Why isn't Parker sitting with is wife in the background? Just because his kids are on TV, he needs to sit down with them to tell them what to do? Parker, you've been on TV enough through the years. Can't you let your kids have their moment without your face all over it. I see fathers like him all the time. They are so controlling, and put so much pressure on their kids. They are never able to let go of the fact that they have grown up, so they try to force their kids to do and act the same way they would, and most kids generally hate it. When their kids don't do, or are unable to do exactly what they are told, they are yelled at for it. Control mongering.
The kids look very very unhappy when they don't do well, where the others were laughing and cutting up. However, Parker is one of the sweetest guys in the world, and they're 14 and 15. They were just born and babies yesterday for shits sake! He's probably afraid to let go because they're his babies. Relax man
If you look closely at this 10:07 you'll see Parker smiling and trying to connect with his son, while the kid won't even look up from the ground and just sits down. That's gotta be soul crushing for Parker. I think you're just injecting some part of yourself into your comment, because we weren't there or at any tournament to see how he interacts with his kids.
