- Today we're building a Gothic Mansion! This build has sucked up many of hours, but it's finally complete, and is one of the most elegant and striking Conan buildings I've done in quite a long time. Hope you all enjoy!

Even more work if you do it without creative mode and make all the materials.
Can't make it yet as the Sanctum set isn't in the shop right now, i've built the foundations and the pillars for now though. With no creative mode as it's my friends server.

Fantastic build! it's all the finishing touches that i enjoy! the library..the museum...the attention to detail is on another level (all the chess pieces perfectly lined up on the shelves :) )
Love the black and gold theme. Even with the lighting effects you gave the interior a golden hue. Nice mix of Stormglass and Turian pieces.

I finally done with the building itself. I lost count after 40k bricks 😂. Decoration incoming, however I have to improvise, because I don't have many of the BP/Bazaar items. Great build, amazing decoration. Keep up with the amazing builds. If anyone wanna come by, let me know, I'm on a private server.

@Eradicati0nn you should make some kind of mining camp in the frozen north that harvests ice black ice and star metal I can see stygian or nordhiemer theme built using a mix of insulated wood frontier or reinforce stone

Looks amazing! Is there a more detailed clip of how you constructed the ground floor? Trying to reproduce this but having more detail on how you achieved the varying heights for the ground base would be extremely helpful
I don't have a detailed clip of the baseplate construction unfortunately, though it is pretty simple. I built it all on pillars underneath, and the back section is one tile higher than the front. I just raised the pillars up by one more tile, built the baseplate, then masked the gaps with walls. Almost like a step up, if that makes sense

How long does it take you to decorate one of your bigger builds? Ive been working on a large build for weeks now, gathering mats, not in creative mode, I must have over a million stone into it, finally working on the decorative phase now, layers upon layers, upon layers 😵
It honestly depends. Some of my bigger builds haven't taken too long because I've decorated the main areas as opposed to the entire base. This build doesn't really have many nooks and crannies where I can avoid that though, so I decorated everything. Decoration took a day and a bit, around 13 - 14 hours in total. There's also the editing and everything else 😩
My hats off to all of you content creators, with the editing, I don't know when you find time to actually play!

Glad you enjoyed it! I don't have a specific piece count, but realistically, probably over 5000, if not closer to 10k. You could scale the design down to make it more reasonable though
I'm new to Conan and still stumbling around trying to learn everything. I've watched some of your build vids and will be checking out more of them. I'm still at the square block type of build. One question I have is what is "BLB" and where would I find the St.glass Cathedral. I have the DLC: Stormglass. I must say this build is fantastic, and don't think I'll ever get to this level.
"BLB" means Black Lotus Bazaar, the in-game storefront. The Stormglass Cathedral set is available through the BLB as an extension to the original Stormglass set, so it offers flying buttresses, rose windows, double doors etc. I don't think it's on the Bazaar currently, but it will definitely swing around again in the future, it's one of the most popular sets
How did you get the fencing to place inside the doorframe @45:05?
library looks great but I can not get corners to overlap, how did you get them in there?

Out of curiosity why did you use only pillars and ceilings for the base plate? Is it just cheaper than foundations or does the build have some trick that requires everything to be pillars and ceilings?
There are a multitude of reasons, mostly corner pillars, flexibility and detailing. I actually have a full video dedicated to the topic, and why I use it

How were you able to get the bookshelves in the library to overlap in the corners? They won't do that for me.
How many Shrines to Set, shallow graves, sacrificial alters and other nasty things are hidden away in the foundations? Plenty of room underneath for under-handed deeds...

I am coping your build on my server but it takes so long to gather all the resourses, its been 5 days and I still have mid tower and roof to complete
Never tells you the total Building piece amount or How many Deco used.... I enjoy the builds, just wish I knew the amount so I can see if it is useable in a RP server.

Yeah this build likely won't work on officials 😂 It's highly impractical for even single player servers tbh, but someone might eventually rebuild it
If the space was available, what complications would prevent building it on an official server, in case I wanted to try to mimic it like I did with Lyumi Lights Arrakeen Palace (Dune) which is 23 by 23. @@warrenhill3706 The only real complication on an official would be the sheer material count tbh, which would be incredibly high. Prohibitive for sure, but not impossible if you have the time

Agreed, they're some of the best pieces Funcom have made. I'd say keep an eye on the Bazaar just before the Age of War release, the Sandstone Timber set is in there right now, so I'd say it's highly likely that Stormglass Cathedral will come around before the next update, seeing as it's probably the most popular set
