190+ hours, and still on my first playthrough. Every time I take a step forward, I willingly take two steps back trying to unearth every little detail, secret, and surprise this world has to offer.
Am 97 hours in and I play like this. I not long made it to the mountains just after Lyndell trying to unearth every little thing that I can. Am in lo e with thus game.
I played 310 some hours--but a good chunk of it was trying the final boss. Even with the help of a stranger, it probably took less tries to defeat the Orphan of Kos solo. Now I discovered another underground laying to explore. I still can't tackle Melenia in her second phase--she will likely be a lost cause.
I’ve been playing since day 1 and still haven’t beaten it due to responsibilities. But I’m very much loving the experience, and I’m doing a good job of mostly avoiding major spoilers. I love everything about this game so far. Definitely a timeless game on our hands.
I’ve spent 370 hours in Elden Ring and some of my favourite moments don’t even involve the bosses. My first encounter with the Bell-bearing hunter at the Warmasters shack was like a cinematic epic - storm blowing, rain, darkness, wolves howling, that flying red sword and the big fat ‘wow’ once the fight was over. A compelling game from tip to toe.

Finished my first playthrough in a quick 428 hours. Each region in the game is phenomenal and I could spend hundreds more hours exploring. It’s amazing how much joy and anger the series has created for players.
I'm impressed by this review of Elden Ring Rosie! Great job! I do agree with all the beautiful colors you see throughtout your journey in this game. You get a different vibe from each area based on color alone.
Good job Rosie, I can relate, even down to the French version of the artbooks ! I have 340hours and only just at the mountaintops (yeah, I know). We might have to fight over Blaidd though - he's my boy 😄. I take your point about the visuals but I think the music deserves a nod too, e.g. the accompaniment on the perilous descent to the three fingers, the ominous gongs in the catacombs or those nerve shredding violins in Caelid.
I've spent around 200 hours playing Elden Ring so far, currently on Journey 2 and I'm so enthralled by the world that in order to play longer I've decided to try and get every weapon, armour and spell in the game. I'm in love and I don't want it to end 😍
Great video, Rosie. We might not have your Platimonday stream for this game, but it is clear to see your passion and love for Elden Ring surpasses even the platinum. And that drawing at 12:46 is A-Mazing!
This is absolutely brilliant!! 😍 This video itself is definitely a great example of the emotions you go through with fromsoft games, for example I laughed uncontrollably at Rob and Rosie in the car and cried at the puppies at 14:30, but I was never sad, just spirited away and quite content! 🥺❤️
The exploration in Elden Ring is so good it makes me wish I could erase my memory of it to replay it blind again more than any other FromSoftware game.
I’m currently on 120hours & am nowhere close to finishing it yet. I’m having too much fun exploring that I no longer know how many main bosses I’ve done & have no idea how far I actually am. ER is the first game that’s made me appreciate fast-travel though, it’s not something I normally use in games.
You won't regret that. If you are brand new to FromSoftware games from 2009, and on, a wiki and good TH-cam walkthrough will be useful. Very much so. However, there is nothing like going blind
@@regularlife88 This will be my first and going in mostly blind. Outside of bits I have seen here and what my friends have told me about. I have been thinking about playing Bloodborne first but Elden Ring looks so fun to explore I landed here. Going to make Elden Ring my next platinum. Looking forward to the good time.
I’m kinda jealous of anyone starting out, you’ve got so many great experience’s ahead. I would say don’t be afraid to use the Wiki after an area to check for anything interesting you’ve missed. Some of its very well hidden but well worth seeing.
Played for 7 hours. Wanted to get into it (and even started a new file when I wasn't happy with my first character) but I just didn't enjoy it. Which is a shame, it feels like it's something not clicking for me when everyone is raving about this.
I put 90 hours In and got the platinum due to racing my friend to the platinum, been weeks since I finished it now and still can't stop thinking about the game
Two hundred and thirty hours... finally finished (with the _good_ ending). Every time I thought I'd seen it all, *Elden Ring* threw something new at me, expanding its breadth and scope in ways I never expected. Even the areas I've explored a dozen times reveal secrets I'd missed. It is a masterwork of world-building I'll keep going back to again and again.
ngmax, I have 5 builds at 431 plus hours.. I'm literally in the hospital now been in here for 25 days.... I know I know I haven't much of a life to have that much time in a game, but I absolutely love it! can't wait to get out the hospital so I can play again.
I spent 350 hours on my first play through and checked pretty much everything in the game, I may have missed something but I made sure to do as much as possible in one play through! I stared at the world for hours and hours it’s absolutely stunning! i played Co-op too and wasted time with friends but enjoyed every minute of it! Masterpiece! 10/10 and my GOTY!
I tried to explain the exact same sentiments to my wife! There's something so incredibly alluring about seeking out one last ruin and finding a site of grace, or a tough boss and you feel your heartrate elevate. It's a magical experience that soon won't be forgotten!
Elden Ring was an absolute joy that will be difficult to match for any other game. I probably spent around the same amount of hours doing everything I could in my first playthrough. I loved the freedom. This is the biggest to point to put to someone coming into the game for the first time, you have the freedom to go anywhere you want and accomplish the game the way you like. It was a fantastic experience! PS. Great video, Rosie! Would love to see more stuff like this.
I'm about 180 hours in and just now reached Melania. I'm enjoying the game, though I think it has its flaws. It is beautiful and has great depth. I'm glad so many are enjoying it.
I gave a From Software game another shot with Elden Ring but it still didn't click with me, i can tell they would be great games but they are just not for me, i tried Dark Souls 1, Demon's Souls PS5, Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring but they didn't click with me but i'm really glad you enjoyed it Rosie and everyone else
I spent about 130 hours on my first playthrough. What really got me was the sense of history and wonder that permeated throughout the game. It’s the first open world since The Witcher 3 and AC Odyssey that left me wondering about what happened here long ago and what I might find at the next bend.

And one of my favourite things is the amount of welsh voice actors, I always like fromsoft regional voice acting but this one is extra special to me.

My wife went to school with the lady who voice acted Sellen the Sorceress. Proper lovely Welshies!
Big agree, it is always a treat to meet a new npc and hear their voice
170 hours myself, it's an utter masterpiece. Even when it made me angry and frustrated, I still can't stop thinking about it. What an achievement.

Have to agree about Siofra River. Absolutely stunning area. To me it felt like being inside a dream-like snow-globe, filled with stars.
