    I really like the 50 state smog legal thing! That just shows the extra care that they put into their cars.

    That 43 hardtop is perfect! So much better than the aftermarket ones i've seen. Excellent job as usual.

    Wow. This video is very informative. Really love what you all are doing with the FJ40 and FJ43's. I own an FJ43,1981, here in Bogota. I bought it from an owner that had it directly imported from the factory in 1981. Has all the stamps from the importation, manuals, tool kit, hard top, heat and A/C. It was always serviced at the Toyota dealer. I just got lucky hunting for months for this vehicle. Will be importing it in a few years when I return to the USA. Keep up the great work, Cheers!

    For the visor since you moved it over 3 inches, perhaps you could add a piece that once the visor is down you could then slide another make shift visor over to the left after it clears the roll bar.

    Do you know where to find parts of Air Injection System fo Toyota Land Crusier Fj40 American Version 1978. Particulary Valves (VTV, VCV ASV and so) and hoses

      There won't be anything new anywhere unfortunately. You will have to look for used parts. We've got quite a bit of that kind of thing laying around.

    Can the late sixties and early seventies style doors (say a 1971) be swapped onto a later model padded type say 1975 and up? The early year ones were bare metal with a unique "X" pattern by the interior door handle. Great video and craftsmanship as always.

    • @procruiser
      @procruiser  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The doors are interchangeable in that the hinge position and door openings are the same, but the strikers are different. We usually modify the B pillar to adapt the striker, but that requires body and paint work. We have also made modified strikers that adapt the two styles.

    On second thought, to the user who insulted Chandra with the rude comment, you are blocked and the comment was removed. The anonymity of the internet is no excuse for bad manners.

    Hello, Sir
    On the red EMU lift Suspension what size are bushings for the front lift. I have a 76 TOYATA FJ40 Landcruiser and order EMU lift and shock and spring lifts, but the bushings they send are too small.🙏💕

    Stopped watching this soap opera when he went on about scratches in paint not being fixable. If the painter can't fix a scratch on it without repainting the whole tub, get a new painter. ...or just cut out the fake drama.

    • @procruiser
      @procruiser  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I should clarify. Some scratches can be fixed. Ones that are on the surface, not too deep, and do not break through the paint into the primer at all can be "buffed out". It's the scratches that go through the paint, that are hard to fix correctly. And as Bob said in the video, there really isn't a good way to fix those without refinishing the whole panel. If the panel doesn't have a good starting and stopping point, like a hard body seam or opening, then it's very possible that adjacent panels have to be repainted at the same time. In some cases that means a refinish of a lager body component like a tub. We take the view that any repair is a short cut, and as patches and short cuts shorten the life of the paint job, we avoid them.

    • @RadRidesByCru
      @RadRidesByCru 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, that was a wordy sales pitch. A wholly inaccurate one at that. No shop is going to refinish that tub over a scratch, even if it's down to bare metal. You can take any pretentious view you want, but you're just posturing over a simple spot repair on, of all finishes, a solid color base/clear. But, you're trying hard to make your product sound "premium" and "upscale". I get it, everyone gets it.
