We come here to unlearn the idea of separation and know we've never separated from the Love of God,. Said another way, we come to remember who we are and that we are the Love of God and that we've never changed ourselves. Nothing real can be threatened and nothing unreal exists, herein lies the peace of God.
A course in miracles which I discovered in 2013 is the purest most direct truth about everything. You do have to have a certain degree of philosophical openness to understand it though. Sometimes I feel waves of love when I think of them and of your relationship with them that graces sooo many of us! Just want to put out there that as well as Ken Wapnick, Gary and Cindy as teachers of the Course, I am really happy to have discovered Cate Grieves. In my opinion, she does not compromise one iota, and keeps things very very simple. But don't take my word for it. Anyone can check her out on youtube for themselves if they feel inclined.
In response to the question about David Hoffmeister, I can attest to his purity style of being able to spontaneously quote lessons and text practically verbatim at the moment needed. He has lived and breathed the course as his life’s work for I think around 36 years. He is not so much about writing books, he says that his books are written by other people quoting him for the most part. His maverick manner is very extemporaneous, using movies, song lyrics and workshop podcasts of his retreats to precisely address modern life issues in ACIM terms. I have studied the Course on-again off-again since intro in the late 70’s with so many recognized famous teachers and David is imo a brilliant luminary with a relentless commitment to identify and relieve us of the illusionary traps. He is not only articulately erudite but is a playful and humorous wordsmith and metaphorist. Sometimes his spontaneity and charisma is overwhelming in his attempts to ruthlessly disengage the everyday mind but what I want. I hope this helps anyone considering his work. Like Gary and others referenced here - all the great contributors - David is a treasure and a pleasure and an honor to be with. I thought you all should know.
I totally agree with you, I've only been following David's teachings for a relatively short time having recently come to A Course In Miracles, I love his wonderful commentaries he reads after every workbook lesson on his TH-cam channel, it really touches the heart.
Thank you for this. I prayed about what I would say to the question about the war...and these are the thoughts that came through. Correction of perception (forgiveness) is NOT just telling ourselves Putin doesn't exist or this world doesn't exist. A true and helpful answer to some of these questions is to PRAY and ask Holy Spirit to give to you the faith and understanding needed to know WHY this is happening AND your part in it happening. When we see our part in it and have our faith increased through answered prayer, true correction (forgiveness) is GIVEN us.... and we will see the REAL WORLD where the pain/fear/illusions once was. This is how we become part of the Atonement and salvations plan and let miracles/healing replace the grievances/fear. So to conclude: The true answer to our problems lies not in concepts (such as this world does not exist), but in correction of perception that comes as the effect of true prayer directed to holy spirit/Jesus. Pray brothers and sisters, pray in the quiet of your heart and mind for your answers.....and you will receive not just forgiveness, but healing and understanding and peace. 💜🙏
What can radically change your perception is listening to independent journalists. Like Max Blumenthal. The MSM is feeding us a total lie about pretty much everything. I know this is just speaking at a certain level but it really helps. We have no idea if the stories we are hearing are true or not. Just for starters.
I think Gary said well about the bad stuff happening anyway, independent on our path. HS is there to help to bear it and help us look at it the right way - as a tool of learning. To ask for HS to guide us in the world instead of looking the situation first with HS is pushing our own motives on the result. Rather wanting a certain outer outcome than wanting to learn to look at it. It is harder but I can vouch that running around for guidance on what to do in the outer world can result in worsr pain than wanting to accept what happens and wanting to use the outer projection as a tool of forgiveness.

Thank you Gary! The Course in Miracles (CIM) helps one to recover peace quicker in one's life by having the power to forgive faster, which will bring your mind back to peace. Each time you forgive it's like some of the dirt falls off hiding a bright pure crystal, which is not only you, but everyone else. Take the time to forgive. It helps for me to imagine myself looking across a room seeing this twirling mass of beautiful swirling colours standing behind a shadow of a human looking image doing something horrible in the hologram. I know that this twirling mass of beautiful swirling colours is also me, and I say to the abstract colour across the room, as the image keeps moving, you are eternal spirit, whole and innocent, all is forgiven. We are all imagining ourselves evolving within a dream, but of course, you cannot be anything else but what God created you to be, therefore the you in the mirror that keeps changing, is just a communication tool, it has truly nothing to do with who you are. Take care!
I resonate with everything you said Gary when you mentioned nature and the animals killing each other and then you elaborated about it. I've had the same thought too about nature is that animals kill each other for food; I see this especially well in my cat who hunts mice. When people say look at things positively and then they are talking about it like how the EGO would appreciate it (Example: what a pretty bird); which to me is giving positive and negative characteristics to things which is "duality". Then Jared mentioned the blender bottle, desk or computer being all the same and if he looked at it a certain way he could see love. It made me think of a quote by David Hoffmeister that I have heard which gets my mind to look again with HS..... "Everything is 1 Spirit".
But isnt duality a mere human perception about the universe? Just because we define the world certain way ,doesn't mean the reality is purely a duality. Had we define the world as non-duality,wouldnt we see the world very differently?
Why is everything getting worse then? That's not perception, that is fact. So if we keep saying that everything is not real or the same we would all be ignoring the bloodline families that literally rule the world and are on the verge of enslaving humanity. So being that it's a super complex situation it would require understanding to forgive this. But instead everyone is entirely ignorant of how dark this situation is and the new age community is playing ignorance just as much as those glued to the tv.
heres the problem when your aroud all these nice people like on the call and then you go in the world shopping ect and are shocked how people afe vicious and angry lol
Can we look past that with the help of the holyspirit and forgive what our eyes are showing us and try to see them same as you but just less aware of themselves as spirit
