One other important experience I’d like to share, it happened at the end of last year when I was up to lesson 20 or 24 of the ACIM. I got into my car in broad daylight to run some rather boring errands. My mood was relaxed, and I wasn’t thinking about anything in particular. When I got into my car in my front yard, I noticed that the trees and everything in the whole area looked different. It looked and felt as if I was making my way through the inside of a beautiful painting, I was in the same ordinary place but it was a different world with a very different atmosphere and it had a pearlescent pinkish light over everything, and I kept saying things to myself such as “delicious” and “beautiful” and “wow”. This experience kept going for a good 6 to 8 minutes as I drove around some rather dreary parts of the town that I live in (northern New South Wales, Australia), which now looked divine and not dreary at all. I was disappointed when it stopped but I’m determined to see that again!

Yes I know these. I did law of attraction from Esther hicks, before the course. She called it the vortex. I could write for 3 or 4 hours positive statements, and then get into the vortex , sometimes faster. But the longer you do it the more momentum and time it will have. I then walk outside and everything was so beautiful. I knew this from my drugs use history, so for me it was free and healthy drug experiences.
Now I am inti the course for 4 years. And I notice because of the dropping of the ego thought system, I have sometimes experiences like I had with law of attraction. But they come by themself with very little effort sometimes. And like you say, my mind keeps saying then wow beautiful and this and that.
But good to hear others having these experiences too❤️❤️❤️

Thank you, Leon. Just found your channel. Gary was really on fire here- I would say this presentation is the best summary of ACIM that I have discovered. Absolutely beautuful. Gary's reminder towards the end to be normal and have fun (and be kind) is 'timely', because the Workbook can be very serious and daunting.
I've saved it to listen to it again and again.
I did book a holiday to see Gary in Formentera, an island off Spain in 2020, then Covid hit, so I doubt I'll ever get to attend an event with him in person. Im in the UK, like you, so long air trips are prohibitive.
    Many thanks.

(If it is of interest) the episode with D Patrick Miller expands upon the ‘Be normal/ try to be kinder’ quote.

When we do not believe in the Son of God, denying that when we believe "I am the holy Son of God Himself" that act of believing is really taking place in God in us, denying that it is God believing that as us when we believe it, we are condemning ourselves, and are experience being in hell. Yet it still is God Who is doing it as us when we do it. (God not being separate from us.)
Indeed God as God does not know us as we believe we are; mere human creatures. But experiencing being us He comes to believe He is but a human creature.
We are experiencing condemnation and hell. Until we change our minds, thus allowing God to change His mind in us...
God as Himself knows Who and How He is, that that his infinitely great happiness is fully justified. But while experiencing being human and as a human believes He is that, He will not deem Himself worthy of such a lofty recognition.

May I share this story in the hope that it can inspire people to persevere in their study of A Course in Miracles.
So what happened is that a friend of mine was going was planning to go to the police to complain about the neighbors making noises upstairs but from my observation he is as guilty as the neighbors because he's making a lot of noises too. And so I was really shocked at how little self-awareness he had.
And he wanted me to go with him to the police station but I told him I don't want to be part of this drama as it has nothing to do with me. I want peace not trouble.
And then suddenly for some reason I thought about Gary and it occurred to me that as Gary said in the video, there are no people out there, they're all figures in a dream.
And this situation occurs for my benefit.
Whether or not my friend gets it and whether he develops the self-awareness and the wisdom to realize that he is creating his reality around him, it doesn't matter. My job is really to forgive and to realize that he didn't do anything and neither did his neighbors.
And so that realization brought a great deal of peace to me and like Gary said, a tranquil mind is not a little gift.
And I admit that I was disturbed and stressed when my friend told me about what happened with his neighbors and apparently one of them had tattoos and threatened him physically and that's why he wanted to file a report with the police.
So all in all this little drama was a great opportunity for me to learn a lesson and like Gary said there's no way you can understand A Course in Miracles intellectually and really get it. You have to do it and although I only completed maybe the first five lessons in the workbook I read enough of A Course in Miracles and enough of Gary's books to have a deep appreciation of the fact that there is no world and there is no other people. It's all happening in my dream and the ego is making and creating a lot of drama for me to feel that it's real but it's not real.
At the same time I have to show compassion to my friend because he's going through a difficult time.

      Wonderful Peter 👌🏻☀️
Experiential understanding far surpasses intellectual learning (IMHO) but, such is the reframing of the radical difference in how ACIM teaches us about ‘forgiveness’ we do need to learn from the book(s) to grasp this & in some cases - replace the old ideas we had
The world is our classroom & relationship(s) the means by which we learn/teach or teach/learn

That we are not really separate from God means that God is experiencing being us and all we seem to experience apart from Him. God is experiencing it all as each one of us.
Compared to God's infinitely great perfect happiness, for God to experience being only human, a member of a race of predators, is like letting yourself be tortured to death by the very beings you are giving your life for and to. That you may one day remember Who you are, regardless of who you might seem to be as a human appearance, and thus come to your Self, your Life, and your Joy again, yet now also as the humans, as an eternal living divine inheritance you willed to share with them.
The word "inheritance" appears 46 times in ACIM as published by the Foundation for Inner Peace. That indicates significance.
In the sense that God our true Being experiences being but human instead of God, God is undergoing a constant dying.
That is the spiritual meaning of the passion, the crucifixion, the death of not experiencing Who you are (instead undergoing being someone and something you are not, and being how you are not) the resurrection to your true Self and Life, and the ascension into the state of Who your true Being is, even while still appearing in human appearance. All entirely to the benefit of the souls thus created in the whole process of Creation, that also they may enjoy the knowledge of God, which is the certainty that God's love in you is perfectly altruistic. not gaining anything from all this, only recuperating what as God you gave up to have it again but when also the thus creates souls would have it.
As new creations and extensions of God, we did not know the meaning of love. It's quality. Was is selfish, interested love? Or was it purely altruistic?
By believing that love demanded sacrifice we sacrificed all that made us happy. Yet it was God Who did that as Son in each one of us. That we would know we can indeed laugh away that tiny mad idea. Because now we know the meaning and the purpose of God's love in us.
Even the most altruistic love has full reason to be perfectly happy with itself, for what it is, and for what it is doing. And for loving itself. Which is what God does. But being altruistic Love, He willed there also be other being who would enjoy what He enjoys. So He imagined being them, these humans, appearing here as each one of us.
It is the infinitely perfect One Who experiences reading this now in what seems to be your human appearance, yet is really also God's. It is His gift to you. His gift being His very Self.
Recognizing Who you really are and everyone really is is the forgiveness which recognizes what we thought happened never occurred. Something very different and loving took place... something you did and others did that can only make you happy.
For that is the function of the Truth: to make perfectly happy. And you are that Truth. As everyone is.
    Much divine 💗 indeed.

Who are we all really (thank God) according to the early Church fathers?
"This is the work in which we may be doing the works of Christ, for even our very believing in Christ is the work of Christ. It is this He works in us, not certainly without us.”
~St. Augustine, Homilies on John, Tractate 71 (John 14:10-14)
"I will restore you to yourself, when I shall have restored you unto Me."
~St. Augustine, Sermon 73 on the New Testament
"He rightly returns to himself, because he departed from himself. For he who returns to God restores himself to himself, and he who departs from Christ rejects himself from himself."
~St. Ambrose, Catena Aurea, Luke 15:17
"What a joy for those who, after they have suffered for the love of God, know themselves in possession of an ineffably reward, which is no other than God Himself."
    ~St. Augustine
"Blessed be God, for so bountifully providing for us that He even bestows on us His very Self."
~St. John of Avila, Finding Confidence in Times of Trial.
"What God seeks, he being himself God by nature, is to make us gods through participation, just as fire converts all things into fire."
~John of the Cross, Sayings of Light and Love, 107.
"Accordingly, souls possess the same goods by participation that the Son possesses by nature. As a result they are truly gods by participation, equals and companions of God."

The part played by the jealous brother of the Prodigal Son (who longed for home after feeing himself with the food of pigs, creatures that sustain the belief that they are who they seem to be based on the egoic thought system which they learned in the world) symbolizes that in us which is still ignorant of the merits of the cross, the crucifixion being a parable for incarnating, experiencing being only an imperfect human creature.
That is also the role played by the part in us which knows God is great, but does not understand yet that His love is so great that He would even give Himself to eat as crumbs of bread by dogs, who symbolize conditionally loving creatures, who are friendly to whomever feeds them and gives them shelter, but bark and even may bite anyone else. Thus they are a parable for humans. The crumbs of bread being a parable for God giving Himself to the humans by taking on the appearance and experience on Himself of each one of them.
When Jesus heard that from the woman who had begged him to heal her daughter, and to whom he at first did not even turn around, and then called her a "dog" by saying that it is not right that the dogs eat the food of the children of God, he said he had never heard of such loving faith as hers, and did her will, healing her daughter.
She rightly believed God had given Himself to the humans by taking on the human experience. The Soul knowing the greatness of the Son of God's love which the Son of God as a human doesn't know about himself yet... until He hears it from the Soul.
"And Jesus increased in knowledge, stature, and in favor with God and man."
    ~Luke 2:52

10 plus years studying and practicing daily.
The more I see videos though the same is said.
The key phrases, the more I get it.
I am dreaming, all is forgivable, All unpleasantness is just a projection of my ego to be forgiven, it’s a projection of my guilt for separating from God, I’m unconsciously punishing myself that’s why one experiences unpleasantness in the dream. All of it needs be forgiven, kindly, God judges not I do all the judging.
So kindly do your best at understanding and forgiving to release oneself and the dream.
    More or less… lol..
Also remember to laugh at it when possible

This is about Self identification & being aware of who & what we are ‘outside of the dream.’
The Mind that is dreaming is perfect & a holy creation of God.
The dream character that the dreaming Mind has dreamed up can be perceived as separate from God & therefore limited, but this perception in no way all changes the truth.
⁵The separation is merely a faulty formulation of reality, with no effect at all. (acim.org/acim/en/s/172#3:5 | T-13.VIII.3:5)

GOD did not creat the body nor the universe.. but the truth is not to be explained anyway and its not important🤩☺ what i see is, it is nice to be in a healthy body, but it is not really important..(look e.g. RAMANA) he was in a sick body.... spirit is what is leading....in a way . we can hardly explain. Dude is so cute. He says he gives it to Holy Spirit and then speaks about all the junk he always talks about. Was hard to keep my eyes open. Last show too. It runs in the family. Something IS rotten …. And non authentic,.. like the forceful laughter. And I know it’s not real but honesty is an attribute of a TOG. Listening to a dude that wakes up next life time will make you join him. Acim needs no interpretation. Actually it’s a prerequisite. Seek only the experience and do not let theology to delay you.

Hey brother I resonate with ACIM and the experience it generates. I resonate with those that communicate without saying much. Ones that ooze or share from an experience rather than parroting sections.
      Rod resonated.
      He inspired
your ooze. Brought joy to you. He spoke from direct experience. Some of the NDE folk ooze more that a whole Acim community altogether. Why? they had a direct contact or the experience of unspeakable love which inspires new ideas and it’s all fresh and funky n radiant .
What is said here we heard 20 years ago. You tried to laugh at old jokes. They are not so funny. Wasn’t real. Notice your comfort with Rob. You can feel his inner Kingdom.
Most Togs are like logs. No funk only repetition n interpretation of what went before mostly learned from others that interpret Acim. Pple eat that like daily white bread and do the same.
Yet,..Peace of God is recognized at first by just one thing; in every way it is totally unlike ALL previous experiences. It calls to mind nothing that went before. It brings with it no past associations. It is a new thing entirely. There is a contrast, yes, between this thing and all the past. But strangely, it is not a contrast of true differences. The past just slips away, and in its place is everlasting quiet. Only that.
