That was Band Six. They have performed with Bigbang since their Alive concert. Had just finished touring with Blackpink recently. During band performances, it was their own music they were playing. They are amazing.
This is the reason why I rather pay $$$ for a BIGBANG concert. To me, it’s not about just going to see my favs, but to enjoy their art, skills and Thr BandSix is a great compliment in BIGBANG concerts whether be as a group or solos. 🔥🔥🔥

the song is called “The Leaders” btw... it also features another artist who wasn’t in this performance, Teddy. He is a famous music producer, leader of the first generation boy group called 1TYM (also under YG, and they came way before BigBang). Teddy produced many of 2NE1’s earlier works. He also produced basically every single song by BlackPink. He also helped in some of BigBang’s music... but on those, GD did most of the producing.

R.O.D and The Leader's are the two songs that GD performed. The name of the band is The Band Six and they have been with BIGBANG since their Alive Galaxy World Tour in 2012. R.O.D is from GD's album Coup D'etat and originally ft. Lydia Paek and The Leader's is on his first solo album released in 2009, Heartbreaker. GD gets discharged in October of this year so, about 2 months away.
