We were married for sixteen years, and had two beautiful daughters. I was about 8 when I sat on my bedroom floor and recorded this song onto a cassette from the radio. I listened to it every day. It set my compass of what love should be. I'm thankful I've had that in my heart ever since.

I believe in love but it doesn't believe in me for what I ALMOST DID to both of my exes. In a way it has helped me in my life to realize who I really am, not just a confirmed bachelor but my writing got more insightful, thought provoking and has an air of wisdom thrown in was recognized by writing and poetry groups I was in felt all of it. I have never been married! No kids. Well a relationship is not meant for everyone but I sure can it!!

When my children were babies, I used to rock them to sleep and sing this song softly in their ears.... till they fell asleep in my arms. It's like a "romantic lullaby"........they grew up to be very loving, kind-hearted adults.........this was way before Celine sang her version.....which is so gentle and sweet and opens my heart with love and tenderness.

Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan have a lot of chemistry, they're very good in movies together - a rare thing when actors can do that. Also Rita Wilson is in it - just a really great movie. Nora Ephron, the director was so good at capturing life; it makes you feel like you can relate to the characters. I hope you enjoy!
