Kyle Busch can't get enough praise for not wrecking Harrison for the win. Especially after the Austin Dillon debacle it's so nice to just see hard clean racing at the end. Kept it classy during the post race interview too, maybe Im coming back around on KB again
I’ve been going to Daytona for races since 2003 when I was a little kid. Saturday night’s race was definitely in the top 5 for me. Great weather, great fan atmosphere, an action packed race with a clean green flag finish. I left the track buzzing and I was completely sober 😂
Appreciate your perspective and your passion as always guys. Just got to the playoff discussion. To Alex's point, it is absolutely still an underdog win worth celebrating. But like I said on GRID Sunday night, I truly believe it's possible to hold both opinions at the same time. In an era where *everything* has "major playoff implications," we can't ignore what this does to the playoff grid. And I refuse to be dishonest about my feelings towards a system that I don't like for multiple reasons. I get that the system provides compelling stories (and it's undoubtedly "less bad" (I can't bring myself to say "better" lol) than it used to be from 2014-16), but there are still compelling stories even without forcing the championship into that "elimination playoff" box. (Like for instance, a young driver without a ride next season getting NASCAR's most historic team their 100th win!) As Zack mentioned, we probably only need 8-10 drivers in the playoffs anyway, and those that Harrison's win keeps out of the playoffs probably weren't top title contenders themselves anyway. So I'll concede that its impact on who wins the championship itself is likely minimal. Again, keep doing what you're doing! You both have a voice that needs to be heard.
So so so happy we got another Overtime!!! Okay not really but great run and great race all-round. Was pulling for Kyle Busch but love seeing a fresh face in victory lane
i can literally feel the happiness radiating off you two in this video. love the energy!!
