In my opinion it's far better than hell divers. This game has monumental potential .I hope they stick with it. Hopefully on console Release will give them more motivation. Its got a long way to go. The damn things been early access. Im excited to see what theyve been cooking.
If this game was released 5-7 years ago it'd have had a good run, but someone already ate their lunch. Maybe if they'd not let it sit on the windowsill for so long.
They did nothing but chase off the playerbase with nerfs and upsetting changes for the first few patches. Then they just sat around promising to do 'something' for like 8 months. Then helldivers 2 showed up and everyone left. Now nobody wants to go back because...helldivers.
This was such a massive disappointment. They spent over a year and did absolutely nothing with it. The gameplay is still AWFUL, the netcode is trash, animations still look like some developer's kid did them in a week. They did nothing but split 3 classes into 6, and add two new guns, both of which are unfinished, and one doesn't even have any animations when firing it. I could have SINGLE HANDEDLY done more to improve the game in a MONTH, than this ENTIRE DEVELOPMENT TEAM did in a YEAR. And thats not an idol statement, I've done more game development in the past month than these guys literally did in a year, and I do it for fun, not a job. Just shut it down already and fire everyone there and start over from scratch, there is no game development talent whatsoever at that company.
I like the game but I must agree with you there, there are little new weapons, with little modifications, they really should expand that,only one new map, there are new bugs yet they should add many more, they should add 3rd person as well, these are things that could be done in a few months, why are they not doing that? What about drones and other vehicles ,stratagems.... They are just too slow in their advances.
Port hell divers to xbox then i will care, ill take what i can at this point. Xbox giving up their exclusives just for sony to turn around and say "thanks! NOW FUCK OFF." Stupid move on microsofts part.
What I want to know is how you can get groups of troops bots recruits to follow you around and secure areas seen it myself That is badass. Helldivers don't have that shit. In fact helldivers doesn't have shit. load outs are boring. Can't switch it up during combat.
Given that they achieved almost nothing in an entire year just to turn 3 developed classes into 6 undeveloped ones, added two broken or unfinished weapons. (The EM cannon doesn't even have animations when firing, or projectiles.) And... thats about all they did. Time won't fix this issue, unless you have 40-50 years to wait.
@@Konnor1224 I understand, I'm a HUGE fan myself, and there never has been a good first person shooter in the starship trooper universe. (Aside from that one amazing duke nukem 3d mod back in the day.) I really wanted this to be a good game too. But this just isn't the game development studio to be able to do it.

Obly difference between the games should be dropping in in a troop transport. HD2 did it right.
