Three hidden gems there. I could stay in any of those 3. Great stuff Greeny. We would appreciate you sharing some of the stuff you have picked up since you started living there. Seasons Greetings! Happy Holidays.
Great video Greeny. Over the years the number one thing for me a hotel has to have is good BED. Without that you can't sleep at night and you will just be tired and grumpy all day. Thanks for sharing!
I stayed at the Amber Hotel just 2 weeks ago. I liked it there and the good views are justified. They also served good tasty breakfast. I didn’t know they had a Sauna, I will make sure I use it on my return next time. I might also try out the Holiday Inn Express due to your recommendation.
I stayed at 3 different places when I was there in March 2024. The Stay, internet sucked, bed was hard. The Travelodge Pattaya, didn't like that the restaurant was next to the pool, so it always felt crowded. The 3rd place I stayed was The Holiday Inn Express. It was by fat my favorite. Best location, good internet, soft bed, good rooftop pool , great breakfast buffet.
At this moment the holiday inn is around B1800 which isn't a deal like before. March still very nicely priced and one of the best values in town. Amber after jacking up prices recently have readjusted their rates and are offering true value once again at around B1370.
Hi Greeny, I've just booked The March Jan 13th 7 nights. Thanks, I'm a bit fussy and this vid cleared the way. Cheers. Now for the next one, 20th to the 26th around Jomtien, leaving me 2 nights in BK before home to Nha Trang.
Hey Greeny. Good video. I have to agree I also like the Holiday Inn Express. I just stayed at the one in Kuala Lumpur too. Same large breakfast. I'm the guy who met you and Chris in BKK. I just subscribed to his channel too. Have a good Christmas. Maybe I'll catch you in Pattaya at a meetup.
It's not a competition to see who can spend the most money! It's all about your budget! There other distractions you can spend you money on. Good clip! Thanks!
Great and enjoyable review Greeny but I will say one thing from my experience in Pattaya, I believe that over 90% of visitors are not regular gym visitors, every time I wonder past a gym there is no one in there, maybe the odd person cooking then self or splashing around a the pool!!! I hope in your next vlog you could hopefully find in your opinion the most affordable, comfortable & central room for around 700 to around 1000 bhat a night! I know they are out there but it's been a few years since I've been there since the ****demic! Thank you & keep up your good work.
Good quality hotels with excellent prices. I’ve stayed in Holiday Inn Express mostly in the USA. Much better standards overseas. This is one with good quality breakfast. It’s usually cereal, bread rolls, danish, and fruit in most HIE’s. Nice vlog!
I often stay at the April Suites; almost by default! Its a great balance of price, location and comfort but the gym is crap and no breakfast available. Overall , I'm always happy there. I know August and March hotels are owned by the same person/company. Your video makes me want to check out the March hotel nect time I'm there. Thanks for the information and making this video. It's given me something to think about.
I stayed at amber the last time I was in pattaya in 2020. I looked at amber and the holiday inn both were higher priced than what you quoted. But it seems most of the hotels have jacked up their prices over the holidays. Walking around last night I saw some hotels that were closed that were centrally located which was a shame
Really nice hotels and very great location also there's a Holiday inn express in Bangkok Thailand on Soi 11 that's a little bit bigger , however I believe I will be staying there next time I'm in Pattaya. Thanks again for the information ..
The March and the May are great unless you’re in a room on the back of the March or front of the May as they’re literally feet apart and you’ll feel like you’re sharing with the person opposite.
#1 Holiday Inn Express is my spot, I love it. Shout out to the beautiful Lilisa Alisaa who works the counter there. I will have to try #2 and #3 hotels on one of my visits there.
The guest, friendly aspect at the Holiday Inn seals the deal for me! Unless I see something else super luxury, for a good price as well as guest, friendly, I’ll be staying at this Holiday Inn in December! I did read another post saying this Holiday Inn didn’t have hot water. I hope the hot water issues are fixed by the time I arrive.
Thx planning may trip for October and there are so many hotels but nice to have review from someone there and experienced if breakfast isn’t and issue which is better the match or amber
I was going to book The March for a week in November, but there are several recent Google reviews moaning about the rude front desk staff. So I'm in two minds. Can anyone confirm or deny this please?
Funny. I am now in the Holiday Inn Express today. Checked in at 2 AM. Complementary late checkout at 3 PM. Then I move to my 10,000 Bhat/night ocean-front suite in the Hilton for the duration of my stay, then to Japan for a week. The breakfast is barely adequate, OK it’s free. Free expresso machine in the lobby. Room is new, great bed and pillows, with a large enough safe to accommodate my 14 inch Mac. WiFi is excellent. Right out my window, I am looking in some codos; I could spit and hit their balconies. Pool is very small and it is like an oven up there. Anyway, I am satisfied to spend a day here.
I'm traveling alone to Thailand in March...if I book one of these hotels in Pattaya online... Do I book for one person, or for two people, if I want to invite a Thai lady to my?
Are these 3 hotels girl friendly? If I invite a Thai lady to my room...Can I book the hotel online for one person, or do I need to book my hotel room for 2 people?
Before I invite a lady back to my room in any country...I make sure that I lock all of my valuables up in a safe box that comes with the room that I'm staying in.
I asked how much for a montho stay couple of weeks ago. I'm 75 years young and staff very nice. Was Quoted 40.000baht for month but not on my oa pension.
None of these hotels is a "budget" hotel, by Pattaya standards. These are mid priced hotels. By Pattaya standards, a hotel would be a 'budget hotel' if its nightly rent is under 20$. There are many in central Pattaya
Hey Greeny! Cool man, I stayed at the March hotel for 30 days, loved it! Pool, gym, good restaurant and really affordable. Its quiet too, interesting walk up thru little India, my balcony overlooked the field across the street and I did have a partial view of the ocean, thumbs up on the March hotel :) rbinaz
That’s super cheap for very nice accommodations here. Prices have risen. Actually the only one still in that range is the March. Others 40-55 a night now. Yea. Roach hotels with hard beds are less but you won’t see me plugging some place I won’t stay myself
Three hidden gems there. I could stay in any of those 3. Great stuff Greeny. We would appreciate you sharing some of the stuff you have picked up since you started living there. Seasons Greetings! Happy Holidays.
All great places.
That Holiday Inn Express is awesome, just spent a couple weeks there!
Great location

Holiday back around 1400 now. $41 after tax
I was looking for an IHG hotel to max out my status and look who I find giving a tour! Thanks man!
Too funny.

Awesome. Good places. You I just stayed again New Year’s Eve
Stayed at Amber in November for a night… great hotel… staying for a night in April for Songkran , then next 15 nights at Blackwoods…
Songkran should be crazy again
@@GreenyTravels this will be my second time in Thailand and first Songkran.. can’t wait

I stayed at The Seasons which is next to the March hotel. That location is kinda nice with access to the beach (0.5 mile) and multiple 711's.
Nice. Very central location
Loved the Holiday inn Express. Stayed there last January. Looking for something just a little north of Pothole next, just to mix things up a bit.
Greeny.thanks for sharing.keep it rollin

All good stays!!
Last hotel l stay in October was magic everything about place excellent staff food rooms mint plus best location
Awesome!!!!
Holiday Inn has nice rooms, but no balcony is a killer.
Yea. Drawback
I stayed at the Holiday Inn recently, it was about $65 per night, a lot more than stated here. Maybe it was cheap because it had only just reopened.
Yes. This video is a bit dated. Prices definitely on the rise
I stayed in Amber hotel this year and it was super nice!
I love it!!
Put your friends up?
Cool, show some pics of them enjoying breakfast!!
They can afford their own lol
Just booked the Holiday Inn on your recommendation for the first week in July
Good location
How did you like your stay ? I’m looking at August 24
gotta be asked , are they Girl friendly
Yes. All 3. I wouldn’t waste your time if they were not 😂
💪
I'm curious why you would get a small hotel room when you could get a decent condo for around 300us/month. Doesn't really make much sense to me.
Some people stay in hotels for a few days. I own a condo but still rent when I come into town.
The March and the May are great unless you’re in a room on the back of the March or front of the May as they’re literally feet apart and you’ll feel like you’re sharing with the person opposite.
Yea. Haven’t had that but deftakes away from the balcony experience
Nice places Greeny! Stay cool 😎!
Thank you
Merry Christmas Greeny!
Is it possible to stay in those hotels long term? If so, is the nightly rate negotiable?
Yes. The holiday inn and March definitely have monthly deals
#1 Holiday Inn Express is my spot, I love it. Shout out to the beautiful Lilisa Alisaa who works the counter there. I will have to try #2 and #3 hotels on one of my visits there.
All good places.
Those look like good deals Greeny , I may try on next trip ! Thanx ....

Great video great view hotel. Room 👍 great sounds. Outside Thailand 🇹🇭👍.

I was there at holiday inn express in December … the room was nice and good location
I love that place!!
Can you tell the price in Bath? not dollars
How close to walking beach
1/2 kilometer
I really like the colours in bedroom not bland in any way
All good affordable places.
Nice.....i jus have one question Are the hotels guest friendly 🤔
Those are.

Nice vid! I have those three in my mind when I go to Pattaya in january :) But how was the noise, traffic and bars around? Did you sleep well?
March and may hotels the quietest. Off the beaten path
Appreciate the video
Thank you for watching
Please show dog friendly hotels near the beach in Pattaya or Jomtien! I will be arriving in October!
There is one I know in Na Jomtien near where I live. Called To The Sea. I may do a video there eventually
Thanks for the reviews ! Can you tell us which of the 3 had the fastest Wi-Fi ? Thanks man.
I think Amber had the best
@@GreenyTravels ahh ok thanks man
Also try Baron Beach Hotel - it has killing location even compared to these hotels in the video..
Thanks
How far r they from walking street?
All 3 different. The holiday in the closest about a 15 minute walk
@ In Thailand do they exploit tourists?
Great reviews but you need to slow the camera pan as you move through the rooms but great info 👍
Thank you.
What are the covid requirements for traveling to Thailand now?
None.
@@GreenyTravels I liked your video. Thanks for the response.
Whats the best money for value 5 star?
I need one in april
Hmmmm. I haven’t stayed at one in Years Pattay. Just BKK
Siam Siam isn’t quite five star but very good value for money.
AMARI OCEAN VIEW RESORT opp terminal 21 is the best 4/5 star value hotel.
Also Mercure ocean pattaya, if you prefer near walking street Avani resort is Amazing,
Nice job Greeny !
Thank you!!
Hey buddy how about August suite’s i am planning to book that one how do you think it is?
Yep. Same as the March. Good place same owners
