East of Boise? Year round riding, yep, if you enjoy moon dust in August, sure.
Lots of trails out there that need maintenance too so don’t be afraid to pick up a shovel and show up for a dig day.

I’ve been told it’s name is China Wall, because the rock stacking it took to create it resembles the Great Wall of China.
Jacob’s is one of the most intensely technical sections I’ve ever ridden. That’s not saying much, but it is saying something.

I've heard it called that as well, Jacob's is definitely technical, there are all sorts of alternate lines that are beyond me...for now. Thanks for the watch 🤙🏼

I've been out of the mountain biking world for years now and I have made it a goal to get back into it this year. I used to ride hard and often! My bike is a relic now (hard tail Kona Muni-Mula with front Rock Shox) but still only 24 pounds in weight so I'll deal with it. I know mountain bikes have come a long way in technology but don't care, I'll be that one on the trail riding the antique. I am going to get it tuned up and gotta hit the trails this spring and summer. Especially since I took the hockey season off this year. Still lift heavy at the gym but hockey was my cardio multiple nights a week and mountain biking will whip your ass in shape! This trail looks bomb! I am craving some mountain bike pain now! Is the China Ditch trail the same as the Reynolds Creek Canyon trail? Because we've hiked that a bunch of times and have crossed mountain bikers coming out when we are hiking in. I have seen the Wilson Creek parking area with the bathrooms so I assume you start there.

The mountain biking world will be glad to have you back, its all about the rider and their commitment, the bike is only an extension of that! I took a 10 year break and no regrets about getting back into it. I'm not sure if Reynolds Creek Trail is the same as the China Ditch Trail, I know trails have a lot of different names. The most recent video I posted has a trail called bingo, that is a great way to get down to China Ditch.

@@EnlistedTrailHeads Nice, thanks for the quick response! I'm on a Sunday mountain bike watching binge now. And Idaho has some awesome trails all around me.

@@Ruger44Redhawk it's a nice problem to have. Most trails are dry enough to ride now, but bike park season is right around the corner 🤙🏼

Looks more like my kind of country. See any deer, elk or antelope?

No not yet, this is on BLM land, saw a lot of hunters out while I was riding, which was weird lol

It’s crazy how the camera doesn’t really capture how steep Jacob’s ladder is
