Linda Pritchard is awesome! I remember that so much like I was about 11 years old or something and I just loved that song, You"re making me hot hot hot. Alive was pretty good too but not as good as the first one.

there will be never a more important performance than "statements" by the queen of Sweden, Loreen! Every time I watch that performance I cry rivers. No one will ever reach that level, because that performance is honesty and reality combined with artistry and vision. it is breathtaking. The fact that "I can't go on" won that year shows the bad taste level of the Swedish public and the juries and until 2020 this problem went on!
As a swede I totally agree with you, I can’t go on was good, but it is like every other pop song out there, statements on the other hand was different and like you said, had a important message etc.
I greatly appreciate your choices. Great reserach into these many others wouldn't even bother. But there a few glaring absences that I personally loved. Like Swingfly in "Me and My Drum" (2011), Sean Banan ("Sean den förste Banan") , Mohombi ("Hello", he also had "Winners"), Panetoz, Behrang Miri ("Jalla Dansa Sawa") (2013). Perhaps ypu don't go too far in earlier Melodifestovalens. From earlier before 2010 Melodifestivalens, I love Jonathan Fagerlund in "Welcome to My Life" (2009), or Cameron Cartio in "Roma" (2005), or the wonderful Antique that contained Elena Paparizou ("(I Would) Die for You") (2003)...

As you know Melfest is an amazing show that most songs are so good (for me anyway) so to make it I to my top 100 is quite hard even if 100 is a lot. Mohambi hello was in 2019, a year later then I uploaded this. However, my new version which will be uploaded soon (2012 - 2021) will include that song.
So many wtf-moments in this video that they were hard to count, I'll just settle for nr 4,3,2 and every song by David Lindgren, that artist who just doesn't seem to have a soul. And you missed out on the underrated "Hela Natten" by Josef Johansson.
I agree. Some songs I feel like he just missed but then I see some really bad songs high on the list so I started to think that he's just got a strange taste for music. 3 and 2 are good songs so it's not that of place tough. Maybe a bit high still tough. But yeah when I saw number 4 I was like. Ok I'm done.
