Ben's Syphon Funding ability can be situationally useful on rounds like 98. You go from taking down ZOMGs and Fortified BFBs to just normal BFB's and Fortified MOABs. It ain't no Ezili, but removing over 75% of the RBE is pretty useful lategame.
If you’re just doing a level that’s gonna complete that round then no, but it can definitely be worth it. If you buy several rounds worth of leveling then you are always making net profit.
I think placing these accelerators outside of the square would have been better, you just get more track for each laser. Also, when you make a drastic mouse movement and the lasers all turn around, it makes an interesting amount of plasma pools, as is apparent from the lag. Maybe it would be a useful tech. And finally, locking a few lasers on an axis, just like the ray of doom, could have guaranteed plasma pools on some strategic placements
With the amount of individual hits proccing, Ben’s level 3 ability giving a flat damage buff might have been able to push it an extra round or two! Either way, love this series!
ben's ability is not worth on the plasma accelerator as thw downtime actually loses a lot of dmg. the trojan gives only 50 dmg more per dartling,(after all calcs) at the cost of 2 seconds of no dps at all (unless ur using when theres only bads then it would be worth)

Not sure if you’ll ever read this but I started thinking about ways to buff siphon funding and the way I would probably do it is increasing the money multiplier on LV 10 to 3x and LV 20 to 5x this would still make you lose money on rounds with mainly moabs as moabs would be worth 25% less of their value while bloons would be worth 50-200% more depending on if they split or not. Until you reach LV 20 when bloons would be worth 5x as much and moabs 20% more. I started researching how this could this could work on sandbox and challenge editor I found something very interesting cause siphon founding isn’t actually as bad as people think it’s in fact much worse. Cause while it works like intended if a bloon gets downgraded to a non moab class bloon it works as intended but BFB’s and ZOMG’s that gets downgraded to moab class bloons don’t get money multiplier applied meaning instead of loosing 50% or 25% of your money currently depending on your Level it actually looses 75% of money from those bloons regardless of level. Even with fixing this glitch and adding my buffs siphon founding would never be great money maker but it wouldn’t lose you the crazy amount of money that it does now.

considering that pops only make x0.02 money past r120, it might actually be better to let ben put trojan on moabs normally a moab gives 1+4+8+16+32+64*5 = 381 money, but due to round penalty, it's only 7 and since ben gives more than that on a moab, it's a net positive
I only use the ben ability on round 79, you can get a some money from downgrading the rainbows as they spawn and then get extra money from them... But it's still not a lot
should have put the t4s around the track, and lock some on the straight lines, so there are puddles everywhere all the time, I think that should do a lot better
i guess if you look at ben as a support hero isntead of a purely farming hero then his abilities are actually pretty nice, preventing insides from spawning passively can be nice. sure another hero would be able to outright kill the insides but you get some bonus cash on top so he is pretty busted for brainless medal grinding.

Trojan is losing money on normal modes? It purely loses in chimps but other modes there's cash generation when the target is destroyed. Also, I very rarely play with Benjamin but the syphon is nice for ceramic waves to nullify them.

The accuracy path for the MAD isn't taken for the main attack's accuracy, but for the ability since it has crazy high spread otherwise.
I've always thought of siphon funding as an offensive tool, rather than economic. It's nice to use if your defense is still weak on r63, 76, 78 etc.
By the way with ben, he levels first them he generates the end of round cash, so buying levels on Ben is never worth it

If it’s level 11 I would say it’s worth it, since is boosts his income generation to 1000$ a round.

I was thinking the same thing if you time it so it just gets the bad low before it stuns the towers it would have pushed it a little further for sure.
