Funko Pops _everywhere._ She had Star Wars high heels where the heels were light sabers and theyflashed when she walked. She constantly dyed her hair, and if she wore it in a bun she either had dual light sabers crossing it or dual Harry Potter wands. She constantly wore meme shirts and made pop culture references in her assignments. She treated us (her students) not as high school aged kids, but as equals. She brought in sparkling grape juice when we watched The Great Gatsby. She would sometimes interrupt her own lessons to exchange theories on her favorite fandoms. She had genuine pride in her Hogwarts house (Slytherin). She never lost her temper and always kept her cool. She reached out to students who were struggling and would take time out of her own schedule to help said student. She was funny and encouraging and made learning fun! If you're reading this, Mrs. Woiwode, you're the best!!

The teacher acted like the kid, down to playing on his phone and laying his head on the desk while the student shook his head in disappointment and with a smile. Gotta say, that was the best day all year.
Fun fact about my middle school: One time when I went to the teacher’s lounge after taking a state test (long story) I saw a wall of Game pf Thrones characters, turns out they were trying to guess who would win in the end
