Links, links, links, love those links to keep me organized. 🐈‍⬛ What are the things you use or would like to use links for?😊 I think it would be great to embed my calendar in OneNote, but that isn’t possible, so for now the link works the best. Thanks for watching. 🥰

You can't link to a folder on the computer or a section in OneNote right? Just files and pages? Thanks for all your educational videos ❤

By using the right click menu, you can copy links to virtually anywhere in OneNote. For a section you would right click on the section name and choose copy link to section - then go to where you want to put it and hit control V to paste it. It’s the same for a page - right click & choose copy link to page & paste it anywhere you want. You can also do it to an exact line on a page - right click in front of the line, paragraph etc & choose Copy link to paragraph - and then paste it anywhere you want. As far as a folder you can right click on a folder in Windows Explorer & choose copy link - when you paste it into OneNote it’ll take you to that folder in your OneDrive on the web. I don’t know why it doesn’t take you to the folder on your computer but it may if you don’t have OneDrive. Hopefully this will help you. I don’t really link to folders generally, but I do link to everything in OneNote, sections, pages, & lines on a regular basis & it saves so much time.

Yes you can! Basically it is the same process as in the video only choose the section or folder. It will return you to the last page or file you worked on there. For Drive folders you do have to remove the quotation marks around the folder path. I probably should do a quick tip on this information. Thanks for the idea. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.

You mentioned linking an Outlook calendar. Is this possible? Since One Note and Outlook are Microsoft products, one would think it is possible. Thanks for all the great videos. I learn something new each time I view.

So there is some integration with Outlook, however it will not display your calendar the way many of us wish that it would. Here is a video that I did about the integration. Hopefully you will find it helpful.
Microsoft continues to add new features so maybe one day they will make a more seamless integration. You can always insert a link to your outlook online as well, much like I do with my Google Calendar.

Is there a way to add a link to create an apple calendar event?

I don't use the Apple calendar, but when I create my link to my google calendar, I simply copy the link from the browser. I am not sure this will work with Apple. They tend to make things a little more difficult when crossing platforms. I know that some of the apple phone functionality is not the same either. I am sorry that I do not have a better answer for you.
