Lowriders are international if you don't own one you can't really understand. It's amazing just cruising in summer. Lot's of people stop to talk and ask lot's of questions. Lowriding has helped me with mental health issues and makes me happier.

amen brother! that's awesome! I'm glad you found something that is almost Really . . . theraputic . I built my own lowrider bike in college and I LOVED it, it was a 26" Huffy frame....but oh well it still looked GOOD!! AND it made me Happy as well. I was Really Proud of it. This guy swears that if it wasn't for him, "Chicano culture" would never exist in HK. I'm sorry to burst your ego. But take a look at Japan.
The japanese have been mimicking LA Chicano culture for years now. Hong Kongers love to copy other people's styles. It's been happening for decades. Years ago when I was a kid, HKers would copy whatever was in style in Japan. Such as Jpop, anime, JDM car scene, clothing, and etc...
I wouldn't be surprised if he came across "japanese Chicano culture" and decided to copy them... If it wasn't him, I'm sure another kid from HK would have done the same.
