Guys... the disruptor shot on NT-242 is incredibly overpowered. It has so much splash damage and takes out tanks in like 7 shots. Gets battlepoints so quickly. Not only that, but the splash damage deals massive damage to blocking heroes so they have no choice but to run away

I think the health boost infiltration is the best one tbh. The point of infiltration is essentially to be a one man army and pop off a couple guys who get to close. That’s kind of hard though, if you keep getting mowed down after one kill. Health boost throws your opponents off by making them think you have normal health which causes them to try to finish you off without dodging your shots. This lets you easily clear the area. I never got more than one kill with infiltration before I started using the health boosted one. Also if my infiltration runs out and someone is still alive, I usually just stinger pistol them and take cover. Works every time
I usually go with the A280, hardened infiltration, and either tripmines or the Stinger. On indoors maps like the Death Star or in Mos Eisley putting trip mines in doorways etc is a true delight. With the fast recharge for your abilities-card equipped you can put a lot of tripmines up pretty quickly. And if there are heroes on the map, I never go without the Stinger.

Not So Good Cheese Me and my buddy when we go sniper team on capital supremacy on kamino tend to get in sniper contests from our spawn with snipers from the enemy spawn. Pretty fun ngl. After one side establishes dominance we can then help out our teams actually ptfo-ing.
@@soldiersaint6753 Yes! It's a totally legit playstyle. You play to win and would be a fool if you'd let your enemies dictate how you play. Also, not everyone are made to be on the front lines. God knows I don't excel when I throw myself into the breach.
Man, the last time I played these poor guys only had 100hp and it was so difficult. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and these guides really help.
May have already been said (didn't read all 300+ comments), but I would argue that the "improved cooldown state" card is superior to the "headshot cooldown" one. As a sniper, you can easily hit the yellow cooldown state 100% of the time behind cover for example, and then just wreck house down hallways on Naboo, over the sea in Kamino, etc. I find this card pretty amazing across all classes and it's hard for me to swap it out. Further arguments: - The card still benefits from body shots, which are of course easier and likely more common to land. - Body shots with the NT-242 deal around 50% of your targets health. So you really rack up the kill assists as the Heavies and Assaulters charge the front line. You are more likely to stick body shots than go for heads and miss. Arguably better team play style. - The length of the improved cooldown state in stupid long. It basically removes overheating for a very lengthy time frame. In closing, with all the chaos of the 20v20 maps (GA/S), I would take this card over Stealth and/or the Headshot card (Marksman). Your front line troopers, jet packers, vehicles, etc. Will keep the enemy busy while you're at a distance doing what snipers do best. And, with the capability to remove overheating and the need to reload pretty much with 100% uptime... personally, I think it's potentially the best option available for ranged killing play style.
Thing that sucks about learning to play sniper in arcade mode is the AI seem to know precisely where you are at all times, so hiding to get a good sniper spot is completely pointless ☹️
the way i use the specialists: look where alot of people are hit them with your sniper turn infiltrator on run at them and finnish them off i also put the sting pistol instead of my grenade so if infiltration runs out i take out the pistol
Thanks for the guide, just to refresh my knowledge. Even though my specialist is Level 70+, I rarely use the specialist because unfortunately even if I get a quick 8 player killstreak at the start of a match, some officer will have more battlepoints with less kills
A-280 CFE w/ 3-burst, dual zoom; bubble shield, stealth, hardened infil (only infil boost that decreases recharge time). Basically play like an assault without ever showing on enemy radar (bc of stealth) and w/ better range at the cost of less shots before overheat
I use stealth, marksman, personal shield and the last sniper rifle. It's really good for sniping and gaining BP and KS from afar, at least until the enemy gets pissed off and goes Arial and starts hunting you down
As a newer player who had mostly watched very, very early guides on the specialist, I did kinda have to learn as I went a little bit. Glad there is updated guides now ~~even though I unlocked the NT-242 by the time this released lol~~.
This class is so much fun to play aggressively with hardened infiltration, personal shield and either the first or second rifle. Super fast-paced and completely overwhelms enemies
Very nice guide, but a couple of things off the top of my head: 1) No Stinger Pistol explanation. Would've been nice to hear what it does and why peeps might use it (Hero and Special Unit damage) 2) Got your Stealth and Marksman Star Card images mixed up when showing your personal build :p 3) Honestly, the Scrambler Infiltration isn't as good as normal Infiltration because not only does it last a shorter period of time, you're probably gonna die as the specialist way before your team can utilize the map hacks unless you're actually decent with Infiltration or you just hang back with your team and don't go anywhere. The Assault Class' Scan Dart is much better at gathering intel in every way solely because it highlights enemies and displays them on the minimap without putting yourself in imminent danger. 4) Should mention how you have to have actual line of sight on your enemies with the Binoculars in order to ping them; can't ping them through walls. 5) Forgot the best O.G. build in the game: Toxic Shield Melee Boi xD (Stealth, Brawler, Personal Shield; activate Infiltration for speed and map hacks, then activate PS for bubble, and have fun)
Not many prefer using the disruptor shot on the NT 242 but it scares heroes easily because they can't deflect it. Like I'm the only one using it most of the time in GA. It one shots officer turrets, Heavy shields and packs a punch on vehicle weak spots as well.
I use your same personal build except for the grenade ir shield thing. I use bounty. You can never lose the thermal binoculars if you hope to win sniper battles
Specialists are my favorite class!! And the Star Cards I've used for as long as I can remember are, Bounty Hunter, Trip Mine, and the health regeneration one (can't think of the name, though)... Never underestimate the Trip Mine! It can even destroy Speeders on Crait, lol!
Yes, trip mine can be very effective, and I love the personal shield and trip mine but I'm so used to the amazing thermal binoculars I can't lose them for one of those abilities 😭 I wish DICE moved one of them to replace the shock grenade
As specialist I use Stealth, Improved shock grenade, the trip mine, and the A280-CFE with burst and Ion. I primarily flank around the enemy (I mostly play CS) and try to remain undetected only shooting at enemies that are alone or with AI, though when I'm inevitably spotted I run and on my way I place trip mines to weaken/slow down/kill the people that give chase. Yes, I'm a coward... Also the improved shock grenade card I switch out sometimes
Rebel Pathfinders for the Rebels and either Shadow Troopers or Probe Droids for the Empire. No clue what they could do for the other two tho since they aren't very fleshed out in canon as of now
i was gonna make a video about this leak, but i guess ill just share it here, for the resistance they are going to do an infiltrator called dose nico who slams into you when you are getting shot but he does damage to you while he does it and he takes recoil damage too, he also has unique voice line: that's how we are gonna win, not fighting what we hate, but saving what we love. I have no idea where they got the idea for such a character but hey ho
@@diegoo6807 lol. A year later I’m a head hunter. Had a 24 kill streak defending on Crait the other day. Finally got taken out by a raging sniper in a At-ST

Okay, so.... I usually use his marksman build... but recently I have discovered a new love for the A280 (ion, triple), hardened infiltration, stealth, and personal shield with a focus on flanking. Being off radar. I have to say, it can get a little ridiculous if you're cautiously flanking
Try out the Steatlh card in combination with the shield. You may not be able to shoot but you can melee enemies through your shield and it’s so fun to just bash them all away and some of them don’t have a clue how. That increased melee damage makes a standard trooper a two kill hit. Mix it with the scramble intfiltration activate it before your shield and you can go behind enemy lines and assassinate them without taking damage
NT-242 is legit a mass murder weapon you just need to get somewhat good with it and you can hold down areas from range like crazy even taking out hero’s with well placed headshots
I’ve been using the stinger pistol lately and it’s really fun to use, it’s such a sight to see heroes/villains to hide in a corner only to die from the damage :D
For the battlepoint build at 10:09 replace the shock grenade with stinger pistol. I personally use the stinger pistol because every time you hit a player, you get a good amount of battlepoints. Just an opinion you don't have to use it
I play aggressively and I alternate between being a sniper and gunning people down. My star cards are: Hardened Infiltrator(Purple) Survivalist(Purple) Resourceful(Purple)
I usually only use the specialist for galactic assault for the nt ion on the opposing vechicles because im not a good sniper but atleast i can get the target with this powerful weapon
I love the trip mine but it can be annoying to use if you cant line up the laser. Needs to be used close up against walls. It's annoying to have to give up on surivability
SammyBoiii, I’ve recently “maxed” out the Specialist class. My go to loadout is the NT with the Marksman-Stealth-Shield card setup, like your personal build. Since then I’ve changed up my card loadout so I can complete the Thermal Bino challenge. Before I was running the personal shield which is great but it replaces the binos. Since I need to free the bino slot up I’ve been playing with the Stinger pistol and I’ve found it very effective against heroes. That said, do you have a preferable loadout than would allow me to get a few spots with the binos per match and retain the Stinger pistol while still being competitive? You mentioned Survivalist which I hadn’t considered so I may try that. Thanks for your time.
im a specialiast main and you will hardly ever see me hiding at the back of the map i'm always the one killing their team before my team can get thereand i always fight close range because close range is the specialists strongest advantage( close range). no scope and hit headshots and use infiltraion and jump side to side its better than heavy for close range (my personal crad setup for specialist is marksman, bounty hunter and hardened infiltration. good vid but i didnt pick up any tips none the less keep up the great work!

LMAO! I know the feeling homie. But as an assault main user that can use slug Vanguard fairly well, I know how good it can feel to dish that type of surprise out too 😂
@Fhhfghf Zhddh I don't get why people keep getting bothered by how other people play. Just leave them alone and let them enjoy the game. Its amazing how run and gun players just can't stop being jerks to people who enjoy camping.
Not So Good Cheese
Me and my buddy when we go sniper team on capital supremacy on kamino tend to get in sniper contests from our spawn with snipers from the enemy spawn.
Aaaaand you’ve earned a new sub dude keep up the great work!
Further arguments:
- The card still benefits from body shots, which are of course easier and likely more common to land.
Nt-242 with first 2 attachments, stealth, bubble shield, bounty hunter
Thing that sucks about learning to play sniper in arcade mode is the AI seem to know precisely where you are at all times, so hiding to get a good sniper spot is completely pointless ☹️
the way i use the specialists:
look where alot of people are
hit them with your sniper
turn infiltrator on
run at them and finnish them off
i also put the sting pistol instead of my grenade so if infiltration runs out i take out the pistol
I use IQA with dual zoom and improved cooling and my star cards are Bounty Hunter, Bubble Shield and Stealth
Are you a noob because the first and second rifles are the shittiest weapons in the game.
Love it. Hope another hero guide is on its way!
I personally like to use the pistol star card because i tend to be able to fend for myself if i get attacked by 3,4,5 enemies at once
Thanks man! I am from Argentina but I think that your guides are the best! Please keep up doing it
Very nice guide, but a couple of things off the top of my head:
1) No Stinger Pistol explanation. Would've been nice to hear what it does and why peeps might use it (Hero and Special Unit damage)
2) Got your Stealth and Marksman Star Card images mixed up when showing your personal build :p
3) Honestly, the Scrambler Infiltration isn't as good as normal Infiltration because not only does it last a shorter period of time, you're probably gonna die as the specialist way before your team can utilize the map hacks unless you're actually decent with Infiltration or you just hang back with your team and don't go anywhere.
1) Stinger Pistol is scum
2) RIP
3) Each to their own
4) Listen to it again
5) Again, that build is scum. I try not to promote scummy tactics.
SammyBoiii lmao facts
I've been maining the flash pistol recently. My assault always wanted to be an officer. I also just want to flex on people.
Lol
Not many prefer using the disruptor shot on the NT 242 but it scares heroes easily because they can't deflect it. Like I'm the only one using it most of the time in GA. It one shots officer turrets, Heavy shields and packs a punch on vehicle weak spots as well.
Personal shield is all right, but I think that binoculars are just vastly superior for specialists. Sure, you can run, but you can't hide.
Thanks I usually quickscope in other games so this helped
I've been looking forward to this class guide Sammy!
Why does everyone say “smash” the like button. You want your device to still work after you smash the like button so you can subscribe
Ok you asked me to leave a like below so here you are 👍🏻
A280-CFE with burst in capital supremacy on Naboo is OP
I'm level 100 spiesialist, And I strongly suggest disruptor shot. It's got really good are damage, and your more likely to get headshots.
When defending Crait run back into doors asap and perch on the vehicles and NT away
Thank the lord man!! Brilliant absolutely brilliant
The up close a personal build. Bubble Shield card. Stealth card. Brawler card. 280 cfe.
Padawan of Christ Isn’t it called Survivalist?
Incitos Sol Survivalist is one of the cards I think not the name of the the class. Sammy boiii calls it specialist in the title
Yes, trip mine can be very effective, and I love the personal shield and trip mine but I'm so used to the amazing thermal binoculars I can't lose them for one of those abilities 😭 I wish DICE moved one of them to replace the shock grenade
I've seen you in battlefront compilations
SammyBoiii’s #1 fan My inquiry was in reference to the card. My apologies for the lack of clarity.
Great video! I usually combine marksman and battle point builds with marksman, bounty hunter and improved binoculars with the nt-242.
I think the new way classes and their abilities work is much better. I'm finally able to get some wins and actually enjoy the game.
Do ariel and enforcer guides next. Also, who do you think could be infiltrators for the Empire, Rebels, Resistance and First Order?
Rebel Pathfinders for the Rebels and either Shadow Troopers or Probe Droids for the Empire. No clue what they could do for the other two tho since they aren't very fleshed out in canon as of now
I also thought that Bothans could work for the Rebels.
For the First Order maybe those red stormtroopers and the resistance a spy.
They could maybe do something with the pilots like we all thought awhile ago don’t know about first order or resistance
i was gonna make a video about this leak, but i guess ill just share it here, for the resistance they are going to do an infiltrator called dose nico who slams into you when you are getting shot but he does damage to you while he does it and he takes recoil damage too, he also has unique voice line: that's how we are gonna win, not fighting what we hate, but saving what we love. I have no idea where they got the idea for such a character but hey ho
I just unlocked the third gun and honestly I think it might be my new favourite class.
I prefer the Nt 242 with the cooling and ion shot attachments for star cards I use the stinger pistol and trip mine
Great info here! Just now finally trying to level up as a specialist. I find it hard af to get kills so far.
It's all about the right time, map and place your sniping from
The best map for me to snipe is geonosis
@@diegoo6807 lol. A year later I’m a head hunter. Had a 24 kill streak defending on Crait the other day. Finally got taken out by a raging sniper in a At-ST
I had just realised it had been a year since you commented and I was like nahh he good
Ive only started specialist class two days ago I used to think the class was trash but now I'm getting quite good at it, my highest killstreak with it so far is 11
Any verdict on the newest addition to the Specialist, the Cycler Rifle?
I use the A280CFE with burst mode most time but sometimes like first phase of Crait I use the one shot headshot kill weapon
Ahhh i remember ee4 from Battlefront 2015. I also remember how people complained about it being OP and me always using it ;)
NT-242 is legit a mass murder weapon you just need to get somewhat good with it and you can hold down areas from range like crazy even taking out hero’s with well placed headshots
great guide. just started to play the game now. and i love to long-range snipe and mark targets for my team
I’ve been using the stinger pistol lately and it’s really fun to use, it’s such a sight to see heroes/villains to hide in a corner only to die from the damage :D
There should be a Roids attachment for the NT-242. Basically turns of zoom so you have to aggressively no scope.
😂😂😂
For the battlepoint build at 10:09 replace the shock grenade with stinger pistol. I personally use the stinger pistol because every time you hit a player, you get a good amount of battlepoints. Just an opinion you don't have to use it
I would use the iqa-11 with the stealth card the improved binoculars and the killstreak Infiltration
I've had this game for so long and feel guilty playing this instead of all the new games I bought including cyberpunk. This game is bomb
My Specialist Build:
A280-CFE with Dual and Burst
Stinger Pistol
Personal Shield
Expert Handling
I play aggressively and I alternate between being a sniper and gunning people down.
My star cards are:
Hardened Infiltrator(Purple)
Survivalist(Purple)
Resourceful(Purple)
I usually only use the specialist for galactic assault for the nt ion on the opposing vechicles because im not a good sniper but atleast i can get the target with this powerful weapon
After the first card I wanted to do all of the sniper build type cards but the last one was shield, I had the same as you :O
I love the trip mine but it can be annoying to use if you cant line up the laser. Needs to be used close up against walls.
It's annoying to have to give up on surivability
i use the same personal build as you do, yet i do swap it around in different co op scenarios
Aaaah this is what I’ve been waiting for
I remember when I mastered the specialist class that was on October never
im a specialiast main and you will hardly ever see me hiding at the back of the map i'm always the one killing their team before my team can get thereand i always fight close range because close range is the specialists strongest advantage( close range). no scope and hit headshots and use infiltraion and jump side to side its better than heavy for close range (my personal crad setup for specialist is marksman, bounty hunter and hardened infiltration. good vid but i didnt pick up any tips none the less keep up the great work!
Super helpful vid! Thanks :D
Got a 32 kill streak today with the NT, most satisfying thing ever
Enjoyed the video thanks man
I was just about to ask for this
9:45 nice shot!
I'm worst sniper ever.
