It’s crazy how you spot the pianist out cause he really composed all ost you listened to in season 1-3. He is one of the most respectful composer in Japan.
He was on camera like every 2 minutes to be fair😂😂
It might be a bold statement but I'm never afraid to say that he is pretty much the Hans Zimmer of anime

CORRECT AND THAT IS WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING THIS WHOLE TIME WATCHING AOT REACTION VIDEOS
facts, you can tell they have a genuine love and appreciation for it. ive watched a LOT of reactors watch AOT and i dont think ive ever seen a channel as engaged and into it as they were
Yess
You probably didn’t recognize song 3 because it’s missing the rap. It’s Levi’s battle theme. It was used for both his fight with Kenny and second showdown with Zeke. It’s actually a BANGER. Now, Attack on Titan(song), YouSeeBigGirl, and Appleseed, on the other hand, never fail to give me full body chills. I love every song on this OST, but nothing compares to those three.
Iirc the rap isn't present during the actual scene, but if they have listened to it away from the show's context it does makes sense that they wouldn't recognize it
@@AdalHRivera oh damn, I’ve listened to it so much outside the show I forgot the rap wasn’t included in the actual scene. I could have sworn though we hear it at some point.

@@cannonandrus5554 Yeah Ik for sure, I respect everyone's opinion but actually the the scene that combines with the music puts it extra high
May be because they are not listening but talking all along.
Most of the songs are actually in German, but it does not sound like real German, since it is sung by Japanese singers (who are no native speakers). But as a German I have to say, I really love all of those songs.
The reason for this is that Isayama has been to a town in Germany called Nördlingen earlier in his life, which he really liked (This town does also have a wall :D ). He really adores the German culture and and likes the language,m which is why all of the buildings on Paradis island look like old German houses and most of the main cast has German names.
I have also been to Nördlingen, my girlfriend was born there. It is a really beatiful town. Who knows, maybe you would like to visit it some time :)
Ikr
isn't that the town that is inside of a meteor crater?
whaaat i just searched it up and the houses look exactly like in aot, that's crazy
Hiroyuki Sawano is both the Composer and the Pianist you see in the Project emU video. He's one of my fav composers.
たった数ヶ月前のことなのに彼らが進撃を見ていた頃を思い出して懐かしくてちょっと切ない
It makes me so sad because I miss AoT
Surprised that all of you not remember the third song. It’s called K2. Kenny (or maybe all Ackermans) theme song
K= Ke
2= Ni
KENI=KENNY
I like sawano naming schemes
@@kineticstishi saaaame
Sawano song naming is different, but if you know a bit japanese it should be easy to read.
The rap version K21 is so goated
@@ally4131 i also love that one. So that would be Keniichi right, which i think is a pretty common japanese name.
Scenes that I remember the tracks from:
2:25 Attack on Titan
Eren vs Annie.
Episode one when Bertholdt kicked down the wall and titans were streaming in. The version used for that scene was slowed down.
6:57 Before Lights Out
Erwin's charge.
8:21 K2
I actually don't remember where this track was played, but I read a comment that said it's Levi's battle theme? He said it normally has a rap or something. SO to that commenter. Apparently used during Levi's fight with Kenny and his second fight against Zeke.
10:07 You See Big Girl / T:T
I think everybody instantly recognized it but... Reiner and Bertholdt's revelation and transformation.
13:18 Counter Attack-Mankind
The theme that played in Levi's OST, No Regrets, when there was the voice over by the narrator (Armin) introducing The Underground. My personal favourite because No Regrets was freaking awesome.
15:07 Apple Seed
"That's right, nobody's in the wrong. There's nothing we could do. Because this world... is just... that cruel."
Bertholdt's transformation/explosion in the battle for Shiganshina.
SO to another commenter who put all the time frames and names of the tracks as well
13:18 Counter Attack - Mankind is my personal fave too! The first time I heard it was when Mikasa almost gave up after Eren "died" in S1, then Eren showed up as a Titan for the first time. It was played as well when Sasha rescued the blind kid. It always has a special place in my ❤

As fans of AOT we live in our own world, no one can understand those emotions, this literally gives me chills to my bones, makes me nostalgic ❤❤🔥🔥

The man at the piano is Hiroyuki Sawano, the main composer of S1-3, but he also is the composer of some of the songs in S4. As for the composer of S4, Kohta Yamamoto, is the man at the synthesizer. Sawano was the mentor of Yamamoto, and I find it really special that Sawano was succeeded by the man he taught himself. Seeing them both work together on Attack on Titan, especially in the final season, is truly remarkable.
Hearing Apple Seed again made me go "fine, i'll rewatch the RTS arc for the 10th time"

Big fan of your animes love from india 😊
Apple Seed’s lyrics hit soooo hard. That “death by sundown!!” gets me every time.
You guys should react to the OSTs with lyrics. It foreshadows the show soo much. Like in season 1 OST, if you listen to the lyrcis, it's explaining the season 4 rumbling happeniing. example: Ist das der Zerstörer oder der Schöpfer?“ = Is that the destroyer or the creator? These lyrics describing Eren
My War opening has huge spoilers for part 3.
I agree, I love all the lyrics of the OSTs
@@ItsAv3rageGamer Yeah.. Children clinging on to their coins 😭
@@clareyzhbk7 Yes.. so underrated ❤ with the lyrics, they hit even more emotional
Yesss like "Call your name"
It's fun to hear this music without Eren screaming over it once in a while
And us screaming instead
Haha exactly
The fact you guys know where most of these songs are from in the series is so impressive and hilarious to me. 😂
Honestly though aot has to have one of the best soundtracks in all of anime.
aot’s soundtrack is literally the best soundtrack i’ve ever heard in anime/shows.
Bauklötze never fails to make me cry. Such a sorrowful yet beautiful song for the most heart-wrenching yet supremely cool exit I've ever seen in any media 💔
I know this video is 4 months old, but I still wanna comment on this because it hits on another level in German. I'm German myself and the main drop we all know from "You See Big Girl/T:T" (aka the Reiner and Bertholdt theme) hits even harder for me since I can understand it every time. She sings "Mit Trauer und Entscheidung im Herzen zeigen wir den Willen weiterzugehen" which means something like "With sorrow and determination in our hearts, we show the will to keep moving forward" and let me tell you, that just HITS. Goes for a lot of the AoT soundtrack of course. These tracks are even greater when you can sing along to parts of it.
OST Names in Project Emu:
2:35 ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn
(With fun fact: the lyrics has “Is that the destroyer? Or the creator?” in German, as a nod to the first colossal titan appearance in episode 1, which played again in the rumbling episode when eren gets his payback with thousands more colossal titans)
7:05 Before Lights Out
(Erwin's theme, because it was played in his final moments against the beast titan)
8:26 K2-
(Kenny theme, played in him vs Levi episode. It was a build up when they were about to assault the chapel)
10:23 Youseebiggirl/T:T
(You know the drill. One of the best anime plot twists in history)
13:29 Counter Attack-Mankind
(Personally I think this is Sasha’s theme because as far as I remember it was first played when Sasha had to do laps as a punishment from commander Keith back in the recruiting days (warm & nostalgic AoT days))
15:09 Apple Seed
(This one hits underratedly hard. Played when Bertholdt claimed “this world is just that cruel” then transforms, also played as instrumental in Youseebiggirl’s opening)
carter is just like me fr, remembering every scene the songs played in
Ayy I just finished watching you aot reactions. The funniest thing about you guys is the amount of obscure references you guys made, made it feel like you know my friend group. Destiny 2, rocket league, football (soccer), even CastleminerZ. I caught them all. Thanks for the vids guys was a good watch

That violin solo though, for Counterattack Mankind - that really surprised me. Love that piece. Always reminds me of potato girl running until the sun sets.
Really cool to see Carter's hard work come together. What a musical masterpiece.
never clicked so fast on a video!! i've missed them reacting to AOT so much 😭this was sooo great!
Hiroyuki Sawano, who composed the music, is a genius. That's exactly the man who plays this piano.

These videos with the banter between you guys is the best
I've seen lots of channels to react to this video without watching the anime or barely beginning it because I don't know why it became a micro trend one or two months ago, and it's really a shame. Of course, I think anyone can appreciate how great this performance is, but the feelings and lit the war flashbacks are unreal if you already know where each song was played and elevate the whole experience! Canon was so real in 10:55. You can love the story but the level of depth the music and color/enviroment add only show the love it with made with
I loved this performance, I watch it all the time and my 2yr old is addicted to this, literally plays it repeatedly on the daily…. I have no problem with it 😌
So happy y'all reacted to these!
Awee this video makes me miss the AOT reaction days 🥺 they were gold 😩

"classic jack mumble" had me cracking up! damn. i thought i was the only one noticing and trying to catch what jackson says sometimes. 😅

14:43 サシャの歌が一番好き
Not them stopping Bauklötze right before the iconic "Is that the creator? Or the destroyer?" That lyric haunted me since Season 1, then Season 4 happened and it made sense.

T-KT / ThanksAT is one of my favourites (sea scene, armin’s “death”)
T-KT and ThanksAT are my favourites too. But ThanksAT is played during Erwin’s death and Armin’s rebirth. “Levi….Arigato.” Shingekinokyojin is played during Armin’s death and when the Owl reveals himself.
I BEEN WAITING MONTHS FOR THIS!!!
Attack on Titan's OST, especially Sawano's contribution, is legitimately one of the best OSTs I've ever heard. Just about every track brings back memories of particular moments or scenes.
the songs are mostly in german due to aot being based in germany
OMG i’ve been waitingggg for them to react to this
Hiroyuki Sawano, the composer and pianist, composed a bunch of other music (and lots of the musicians you saw worked with him on his other works). Though most of my favorites from him are from AOT, his works for ReCreators, PROMARAE, Kill La Kill and Kanebari are absolutely gorgeous. If you like this kind of music, I highly suggest you listen to more from him!!!
86 OSTs too. Both he and Kohta Yamamoto are really good
FINALLY!!!! I’VE NEVER EVER BEEN HAPPIER 😭❤️🔥
highly recommend listening to the rest of his work as well, especially light and shadow from league of legends and uta from bubble. You'll notice similarities in his work and is very easily recognizably beautiful
5:23 it's him !! Shingeki no Kyojin !!! 🔥🔥
fun fact, vogel im kafig (the first one) is the same song as you see big girl, but with different modulation and mixing
I love watching people's facial expressions and hand motions when they're singing or playing an instrument professionally, you can just see so much passion, at that moment their only goal is getting the exact sound they want out of their instrument/voice, it's like the rest of the world doesn't even exist for them at that moment because they're just so focused.
cant believe you didnt recognise KENYYYY haha anyway I think one of my favourite tracks is Splinter Wolf (aka gabi's theme) different sections of it played throughout season 4, but my stand out part was the moments before eren was running to zeke in the 2 brothers episode also in the latest episode where the crew get ready to jump out of the plane
I am SO happy you guys watched this. I think it is a masterpiece, through and through. Much respect to Hiroyuki Sawano, cheers fellas
He was saying that the one song reminds him of the last few shots of Eren coming into Marley and bro ME TOO. Whenever I rewatch and hear that song I am only thinking about that part 🥲🥲🥲
Would love to see a re-watch of this series now that y'all have all seen it once in full, but I understand if y'all are waiting to do that until right before the ending drops later this year.

By the way the guy on the piano is Hiroyuki Sawano, the composer for the OSTs for seasons 1-3
So ist es immer, Reluctant Heroes, Call your name, Call of Silence and maybe Barricades are some of my favourites that weren't included.
I'm from Illinois but have lived in Texas for more than half my life and you guys trying to draw it was the funniest thing 🤣😂❤️
Guy on the piano is the composer. He likes to combine orchestrals with modern sounds hence the elctronic sounds.

Absolutely. It gives life to the show. The emotions are well delivered with the soundtracks which are kinda lacking with the last season.
Hiroyuki Sawano is the guy on piano

He does alot for mecha genre
Also Kohta Yamamoto who did the osts for aot final seasons is the guy on keyboard

He really is. His mom must be proud
The song u guys took for Bauklötze. There is a comment where a guy predicted this song for being hange's last charge theme😢😢
A lot of the songs have german texts (my motherlanguage). If you look them up, they have great meaning 🙂, but even i have problems understand it properly while listening to it. I use this Soundtracks for my workouts in gym, very helpfull pushing weights. Imagine fighting titans, training for it - god.. sounds so silly. But it really works :D
I found you re Reacting - Videos by accident, while listening to this soundtracks.
Since then i watched every Video of you guys that i could find, never made comments. But now after "finishing" AOT, i would like to say that i love the five of you. Every single one: great personalities, special kinds of humor and what i like most, your need for snacks and drinks while watching 🤣 No reaction seems faked or overdramatic. You make me feel watching these series with friends (am i a weirdo?). Even tough we never meet, it feels nice to be connected this way. Stay who you are. Thank you for all the hours.

the vocalists are INCREDIBLE!! the performances were so emotional i almost teared up!!
Counter attack mankind is one of my favs....when mikasa decide not to give up and eren appears Outta nowhere as a titan ❤️ I'll forever love that scene
The third song they did wasn’t all of the actual song. It’s kenny’s theme and has lyrics with a different band. It’s actually one of my favorites, the one they play in this specific showcase was missing a lot of the lyricize-d song’s attributes. The song is K-21
Cannon knowing who Dimash is makes him a man of culture.
He’s the 🐐
Always wonder if non-German speakers checked the lyrics meaning / translation, because some lines are soooo heavy & deep and make literally every scene THAT much more intense!
Can't wait for their reactions to kick back (chainsaw man's Opening song) and death notes 2nd opening!!..they are so good
