I am in love with Eco. I took 680 km of trip to rajasthan with average speed of 75-80 and mileage was 26.3 kmpl for whole trip. Done multiple long trips and conclusion is if u drive around 80 with being soft on racing paddle then 25 kmpl is very easy to achieve.
It is the best car in terms of 1) build quality, best n smooth running engine. Ground clearance,fuel economy,offroad capabilities, good music system. N all in all great power n balance . Proud owner of generation 3 Ecosport .
Real world mileage(tank to tank not MID) is here: In city, 16~17kmpl with Auto AC On highway, 20~21kmpl with Auto AC & Avg. speed 85kmph City drive is in Gurgaon Highway is Delhi-Rishikesh(frequent traveller) On express highway with constant speed in between 80~90kmpl, Ecosport Diesel is capable to give 25kmpl of mileage.

You need to take care of below things. - Maintain tyre pressure (I use Nitrogen) - Try to avoid rush driving. - Use Cruise control above 70 Km/h speed.

When you use cruse control on highway the mileage changes because of the road levels.. All highways are not at same level. May be that's the reason the mileage dropped suddenly in your case too. I experience it. sometime if you run manual you will get better mileage. But this is the beast with such efficient milega. In Love with driving this car 😍
I am constantly getting near 25kmpl from my EcoSport... Always keep engine RPM below 2000 (not more than 90kmph), AC always on. This cSUV is absolute delight!

I am always very soft on accelerator. EcoSport Diesel. I love mountains and on long highways i constantly get 25kmpl (be it summers or winters), mountains + Highway i get 22-23kmpl.
Even i own EcoSport and mostly drive under 2k rpm but at times its advisable to drive few kms at higher rpms between 3-4k that clears dpf filter if any particulate matter is there and prevents it from blocking. These days many EcoSport owners are complaining about dpf blocking issue

I have 2018 diesel titanium model. Tank like built. No rattles whatsoever. I drive in lucknow city traffic mostly short 10-12 km trips and get a city mileage of 14-16kmpl easily. On highway trips speeds between 80-90 give a mileage of 22kmpl and on expressway constant cruising at 110 gives a mileage of 19kmpl easily Ps. My model is without cruise control

Sir, What will be the mileage at 2000-2200 RPM. This will be the ideal RPM on city trafic to keep the engine to boil for instance pickup and Highway crusing at 2 to 2.2 RPM making around 100 - 120 kmph speed.
I brought ecosports on 28 aug diesel bs 6 at best it gives me 17.5 km per litre ,I am a frequent traveller yes road is like stoping after every one km.

even in my Ford Classic diesel, I filled diesel in Belgaum and when I reached home in Navi Mumbai, it still was showing 450 kms DTE.. distance driven was approx. 470 kms.. fuel tank is 45 ltrs but I think it takes a couple more if we override auto-cut. and I drive in red line zone all the time.. it's only 68 bhp.. that's the only way I can get max performance!

No need to worry .it will need to run about 5000 km to get good mileage.the engine needs to get lubricated.after 2 nd service at 10000 km u will get more mileage than u expect.i own Ford Figo Diesel bs6.i done 2 nd service and now mileage is around 20kmpl

U r video is usefull and good but u r technique to check mileage is totally wrong u cannot depend on autocut. right way of checking fuel economy is by filling the fuel till the top or say brim to brim technique
