Humidity Sensor Switch Connection To DIY Fogger To Control Our Greenhouse Humidity Levels

- Here is how you can add a humidity sensor switch to your DIY fogger or any device you would like to control. this could be used to control an extractor fan in an enclosed bathroom and many other things. Now we have our fogger connected to a humid switch I'd like to install an extractor fan to help keep the greenhouse cool, in a future video, we will connect one up to a temperature controller.

Hi Alex, great video, thanks. Could I extend it by adding solar panels? if I well understood it could be possible to power up the sensor with 12 volts to power up a 12 volts fan - then with a solar panel this should work isn't it?
I would imagine so, I'm no electrician but I think as long as it is all on the same voltage. Maybe would be better that the solar panel powers a battery for a more stable current.
I recently purchased such sensor online. The humidity detection accuracy is way off, like 8% to 10% off. I don't know whether my unit is a dud or it's normal. Whoever uses such sensor should check its calibration before deployment. Cheers.

Yeah I would guess so. You would just use the switch to turn on the dehumidifier or vent when a certain humidity level is detected. You will see a few devices for sale on Amazon, some of better quality price.
@@GreenthumbsGarden does your device only tell the humidity? i don't have idea what device can decrease or increase or maintain the humidity value automatically

А откалибровать его нельзя на ети 13 % , так как после установки более -10 , всё сбрасывается на заводские настройки ((
