It’s normally a 25 minute drive from fort mills . just when you get closer check to be sure your going through the back roads and not having to go all the ways their clt traffic. Just be sure to go on a days when there leaving from 18 center and not 36c. But either way it’s still cool.😊
Imran EA Thanks for the tip. I tried it out in my new video. It was a little easier to do here since I captured more variety. When it's just AA planes, it's a little more difficult to do. New video: th-cam.com/video/CWncSKGLA0o/w-d-xo.html
Awesome video man, do planes takeoff from 18C during a certain time of day or what way the wind is blowing, and if so what way, help is appreciated, Thumbs up from me
Thomas Norton Thank you for your kind comments. Normally planes will take off from 18C when there's a southern wind, happens alot in Summer (and Indian Summers like in the video). However, since they finished 18R/36L almost 10 years ago, landings are rare on 18C unless it's a heavy since this is the longest runway. Thanks!
This was the best spotting in Charlotte that I have ever seen. Keep posting.
very nice CLT gets bigger every year....
Thanks! This view looks so much different now.
To me the clt overlook is one of the best plane spotting places in the country. And plus there’s free WiFi there
What is the best way to go to get to the overlook from Fort Mill, SC. I love these amazing birds.

DogisRain Co. Love it. Very cool place.
How do you get to this outlook from Fort Mill?
Downtown makes a great background. Cool video. Subscribed
If you do another plane spotting video. Please show text saying where the airplanes are coming from

Has AA been transitioning their a321 and a320 engines to CFM/GE engines?
Does anyone know where all of AA’s 757 went?
Unless it's changed they still operate a B757 to St. Thomas.
Theirs some in Dallas
Bad takeoffs
