Ohhh Bob and Jenny. You're having a typical adventure. We were in the more basic campsite on the far side of the Rhine. And we were foot passengers on the ferry.... .next time we'll try your campsite. It was very posh indeed. Thanks again for doing the blogs.xx
This is why I have watched everything you've done and been a subscriber from your early days. I don't own a motorhome but I love to travel! Thank you Bob and Jenny 😊
Bob Jenny a lovely video I have enjoyed watching and I would love to visit the Rhine and Mosel it’s one part of Germany I have not visited but have always wanted to! Looks like a great place to stay and again a very clean campsite with good facilities I hope you have a lovely stay in Germany 🇩🇪
Hi Bob , Jenny and Poppy, lovely views over the bridge as you were driving. Some of the roads were very narrow Bob. Nice trip over on the ferry. It looked a nice campsite, enjoyed the walk around the site, Shame about your camera, x Julie and Tony x
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I can thoroughly recommend continuing your journey along the Mosel to its confluence with the Rhein at Koblenz next time you are in the area. There's a great campsite right where the two rivers meet.
Great campsite and location . We have visited Rudesheim twice and enjoyed both visits. Fantastic cycling along the river and it’s also worth seeing the firework displays along the river. The cable car upto the monument for the views and also the ferries on the river for visiting the different towns on both sides.
Lovely drive. We were following a pro 😉😂 Enjoyed the site there and the expected ferry was fun. Looking forward to your bike ride footage at Rudesheim in the next video… and your new hat 🧢 😉💙🚐🚐 Trev n Sue
Absolutely fascinating again. What a diversion!! Top work driving around there Bob. Phew those little narrow streets were a bit knee trembly watching. Can’t imagine what it’s like to drive. The Moselle valley is breathtaking. We were there for just one day in July. We must get back there soon Safe journey Bob and Jenny
Been here many times. You have to go on the cable car. Fabulous views. I was reliving that journey, been on the ferry. We love it there. Christmas is the best there.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo it really is. Everything is decorated beautifully and the Christmas market is gorgeous there. I didn’t realise you had left there already, sorry. Glad you enjoyed.
Looks like a lovely trip you’re having and nice place. Enjoying watching. Sorry to hear about the GoPro. Probably not helpful in the situation but If it’s any help if you’re looking to change, I love the Action 4 and haven’t looked back all round better, not perfect but so much better in my experience - best decision I made and less lost hours to frustration - Rachel’s still using the GoPro but you realise how annoying they are and still getting lockup even after getting a new battery as you suggested with the white tabs. Unless GoPro massively sorted out the list of issues, I wouldn’t get another one. Hope you manage to get sorted, enjoy the rest of your break and hope you’re having a great day with Trev for his birthday, all the best, David 🍻 👍
We found it the same in Germany 🇩🇪 - so many road works, in fact, one of the satnavs through a wobbly and stopped working with all the diversions😂😂 But apart from that isn't Germany beautiful.
Really enjoyed your vlog been to Rudesheim numerous times. Point to note you came to road 61 for Koblenz and Koln left turn, you went 61 right Ludwigshafen/Mainz taken you to Bingen and ferry. If you had kept left on 61 for Koblenz this would take down the left side of Rhein directly into Rudesheim. Looking forward to next vlog.
Looks a lovely place, you had good weather too! The roads look fairly well maintained 😁 Those boats 🛥️ looked amazing, would you ever be tempted onto one of those cruise style trips? Shame about the GoPro, enjoy the rest of your trip. Em 💜
You continue to amaze me on how cool you are coping with diversions, one way streets, and narrow streets. I am also amazed how busy the site is. It must be a popular destination. What would it be like in August ? Great driving to see the sharp turning into the road to the ferry. Looks good weather too. Hats off to you both.
Personally I wouldn’t approach the campsite that way especially if towing. Turn right by McDonskdd. Then turn right again followed by a left turn past the lido. Room for vehicles to pass. It avoids the steep approach under the railway or the extremely narrow approach road you took
Mosel valley is beautiful, thanks for having to take us through there.
Fantastic part of Germany. Amazed how busy the campsite was though for end of September.
We have just returned from camping by the Mosel in Erden, lovely campsite. Absolutely beautiful views, good for cycling too.
I remember your unexpected ferry trip the last time you visited. Absolute classic. Beautiful scenery. Thank you for sharing.
Yes it was!

I appreciate that!
I know you had to detour but what a scenic route it was, lovely site on the Rein
Our first Eurotrip was to the Mosel in June, it’s a beautiful place to tour down the river.
Fantastic scenery what a great detour. Well apart from the narrow streets . X
Yes, they were are a bit of a worry those streets! 😊
Those roadworks look familiar....we're just back from that way. We went to Lake Titisee.
As detours go, that was rather lovely. Plus a bonus ferry!
Gosh what a busy site! Looks quite cramped?

Spooky,we were there last week!
thank you for taking us on your euro trip very enjoyable vlogs bob and jenny and poppy
Glad you enjoyed it
Was back in 1990 when i was last in Rüdesheim, campsite looked vaguely familiar.....was mainly tents then. Got good memories of the Drosselgasse😊
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I can thoroughly recommend continuing your journey along the Mosel to its confluence with the Rhein at Koblenz next time you are in the area. There's a great campsite right where the two rivers meet.
Thanks for the tips!

Very enjoyable vlog Bob, really enjoying watching your tour.
Keep up the good work.
Loved the scenary and the site. Really enjoyed this video. Thank you both.
Glad you enjoyed it

Thanks, we forgot our hats today!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Yes, and last time we were out. Someone commented on Fb… where’s ya hat? 😂
I love your videos ❤

I was stunned by the Mosel Valley, certainly will figure in future plans.
Been here many times. You have to go on the cable car. Fabulous views. I was reliving that journey, been on the ferry. We love it there. Christmas is the best there.
We didn't have enough time for the cable car, too busy enjoying the town and the wine! Yes, Christmas would be wonderful there.

It's a temptation to get an Action 4, but I'm probably locked into the GoPro eco system!
We found it the same in Germany 🇩🇪 - so many road works, in fact, one of the satnavs through a wobbly and stopped working with all the diversions😂😂 But apart from that isn't Germany beautiful.
It's wonderful and maybe the diversions are a good thing if they get us close to villages like that!
O and Kathe Wohlfahrt Christmas🎄🎄 shop next to the cable car.
Lovely video, Bob and Jenny! ❤️ I wonder if Bob and friend have been using bikes to explore locality? 🚴🚴♂️ Oh, maybe I wasn’t listening…😊
Thank you and yes, we've been out on our bikes - tomorrow's video.

Yes, think we be alright on a river cruise.

Thank you. It's a popular place, glad we visited when it may have been quieter.

Yes that would be a better route.
I actually match the Google and satnav that way I've caught the satnav going through towns and can find alternate routes with the Google.
Hi Bob what satnav are you using sound quality not like my snooper ?
The same one we've had for three years, the Avtex Tourer Two.
2 European trips, 2 detours and 2 ferries - and Jenny does not like boats. All the years in between there was probably no roadworks lol
Never such a scenic diversion though.
Hope you managed to fit in a rudeshiem coffee.
Afraid not, did try the excellent local Reisling.
Toilet Fail Wow
Yes, filmed it but forgot to include it, sorry about that!
