Good luck with your channel and Social Media. Other than TH-cam my whole family closed all our social media accounts many years ago. The reasons for doing this are too numerous to mention. Take care.
@@ADKOverlandNY I would just think of it as a video diary of your projects and something your family can look back on in the future. If the channel grows over time and you can monetize it for a little money fine, if not you still have the videos. I downloaded all my family's 1960s 8mm movies, 80s VHS tapes, and DVDs to my private TH-cam account and sent links that only my family can access so that even when I am gone they will be able to see the videos. I also made DVD copies and sent those to them, just in case the internet dies. Good luck.

that's pretty much the way I look at it and mentioned that very thing to my son.
