    What resonated most with me is the info about hormones. I’m post menopausal and that has created additional challenges in my healthy hair journey. I would love to see a video on how aging and hormones affect hair health.

    I’m battling both traction alopecia and menopausal alopecia. My non hormonal phase I think is the most difficult. However, I’m finding that taking my vitamins, using tea tree oil, my scalp massager, and doing rice water treatments are showing some results. I’ve got some “peach fuzz” on my balding areas😄 Praying one day those areas will thicken up like the back area of my head which is growing quite well. The length in the back portion is quite long, almost to below my shoulder blades. I Pray that the front of my head will catch up. Thank you for all you do to help all of us going through these hair issues. Be Blessed

      Joyce-Suzzanne Omg! Same! My hair was already low to medium density and I experienced menopausal alopecia. I also take vitamins, watch my diet and rice water rinses are the truth! My hair has gotten a lot thicker. I also do monthly henna gloss treatment with makes my hair appear thicker. We got this Sis!

    Super helpful, Linwood! Didn't even consider the effects of fibroids on my hair!! Explains an awful lot. I was hit by a car & then PTSD set in. The whole insurance experience is super stressful on top of everything else because these ppl follow & watch you!! Strangers were constantly following & chatting me up. Makes you feel nuts! Anyhow...due to the whole thing, fibroids started growing incredibly fast! My hair started thinking right out. Thanks for helping me to connect the thinking with the fibroids issue. 👏🙏💖😘

    Them hormones!!! I am white as paper..lol..but love to understand what other people go thru. After both my babies, my hair thinned. Remembering back, when my youngest arrived, to recall if there was a pattern, that is a chore. That was almost 20 years ago!!! Being silly and young, I thought it was from me quitting the prenatal vitamins. (nobody could or would tell this redhead I was hormonal and acting out) Keep up the great work and thanks for tolerating all my foolishness!

    Great info- was hoping there was a way to avoid PP shedding. My temples are struggling as it is. I’ve heard you should continue taking prenatal vitamins or eat the placenta, lol. First two weeks of pregnancy is actually the conception stage but since that’s counted then sure, 10 months- if you make it to 40 weeks.

    • @GetGlamFam
      @GetGlamFam  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Especially if you are nursing it’s recommended that you continue your prenatals. However, post partum is more of a hormonal issue than a nutrition based one, so vitamins often have minimal impact.

    I got mine back with a woman's daily multivitamin, biotin, castor oil, peppermint, and lack of high tension hair styles.

    I was trying to find a video more about HAIR LOSS in my CROWNING AREA.
    I am not sure what causing breakage and thinness but it's only in the crowning area.
    I have tried multiple Moisturisers and treatment hair Greece. Is seems like my scalp is rejecting it. Also I feel like the more moisturiser the more breakage. Last year I had to cut my hair short. Thinking it would help but it did not.
