Im pissed I play the whole game in difficult mode with almost no upgrades and I still felt the game was hilariously easy BUT, the combat is fun so I guess I am ok with that
the slid tips : GODDAMN it useful ( and no, the game nevers tell you what maintenace do , it is never tell directly ) my tip : charge shot with gun and arrow legion + sync attack = make a big jump backwards
Love the vid! Not really a major tip, but a small detail I've noticed is that after binding enemies, they will break out of being chained MUCH sooner if you immediately attack them vs if you let them sit for a second or two. Like, after chain binding, if you use the sync attack to close the gap to an enemy then dodge to get behind them, you will get off fewer attacks than if you just manually ran over dodged to get behind them, then began the same attacks.
two things to add to this: 1. chain bind sync is still a good idea if you already buffed up 2. first chain bind lasts long, second one is shorter, third onward it's basically just a 1s stagger, so make your first two binds count
@@boxlover8244 takes a while for his shield to appear if the legion wasn't summoned beforehand and i don't think you can call a legion back to you if you're on fire

I think? Whichever is the one where you’re running around the ruined city after the giant homunculus fight. Shit has so much play value. Haven’t played a game like this In a very long time
When doing a finisher with A, you can press ZL the moment your Legatus starts to glow up. Doing this gives you a higher chance of getting abilities for your Legions.

Damn. I was like spamming the dodge button the whole time and wondering why am i still taking damage while dodging ,never knew that the 3rd dodge would stops you for while 😂😂
The maintenance they told you to do it but they never tell you what it does. It's on file 3 I think lappy's quest where you were told to visit each facility Edit: also some side missions need certain legion like file 2 where you need arm legion to open up a door to get into Astral plain (Red quest)
i know this is old but i recently got into the game and one thing i learned very late game is that some combos continue even beyond the first synch attack for example after the baton combo into sword legion synch you can attack again imdiately after leading into another synch, it pays to read the help section for each legion becuase some of those combos go on far longer than i first thought, one of my favorites is the gladius attack combo into axe synchs which goes fursther into anorther attack and synch as it does tons of damage while keeing you shielded and has a fairly large attack range too
Not true. Once you unchained a second legion at once, the first Unchained one disappears. So it's not possible to have more than 2 Legions on the field. I wish it was possible though. Hopefully, AC 2 will have that feature ✌️

I really should've seen this video a few months ago when I restarted playing this game again.... So much of this game slugged in the middle so forgetting how things work and picking it up again was such a struggle

The first guy I saw playing this game in a walkthrough didn’t even bother disposing of any red matter, looking through chests, or doing any of the training when it’s absolutely necessary.
The camera in this game still so bad. At times you feel like a complete badass fighting but most of the time the game annoys me with the side activities and bad camera during the fights. The platforming section every single time that you visit the astral realm is bad too. I wish this game had a better camera and be more action focused just like bayonetta.
The tough part is that the right analog functions as a camera and legion move but yeah so many fights I'm just like....don't really know what's happening but I'm getting kills
Wish I knew to take a photo of the rare chimera (golden slime) before I killed them all. Now I can’t register it in the subject log for the ‘know your enemy’ order 😭😭😭 Unless someone knows a way to respawn them?

Always do Maintenance! They're your partners. They keep you alive. Even more so when you treat them right. Some you can't complete the first time around. You need Arm Legion before you get it, Axe Legion before you get it. I'm annoyed I got to File 6 without finding out that 'Game Over' doesn't mean you restart the game. If I had known that I would've done Casual first instead of Unchained, then restart the File and do it again with Platinum Standard, since Platinum Standard is for people who are actually used to action games. The only games I played with this style of combat is EOS, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Halo 3: ODST, and Dragon Raja. I am horrible at this kind of game because the enemies don't stay still, there are timed Cases (which with my Anxiety makes it worse than if it wasn't), and everything else that Pokemon and Blue Dragon doesn't have.
I set it to platinum standard and then died on the last part of awake, not because I am bad at action games, but because I didn’t understand that one attack the boss does where you are supposed to break the crystals, specifically I didn’t understand that the legion could only pass through the barrier while being launched, And then on my second attempt I did it no problem. Although to be fair that’s probably something they tell you and I just missed it.
the beast and arrow legions are the easiest to do this, a gun charge on arrow, and a full combo with beast, you face backwards for both these methods though
Hello Gamer Guru, since you seem to still look at your videos I wanted to ask a gameplay question: I've seen, on multiple occasions, videos of people using Sword Legion as a wrecking ball, spinning it around the player multiple times for amazing AOE coverage and I sincerely don't know how to trigger that. My Sword Legion is maxed out, so are my Legatus and Baton. Do you have any tips? Thank you in advance
I know this is late but that sounds like the 360 link attack. (Idk the name.) Spin your left stick in a circle, attack, do a link attack, attack, a link attack and one last link attack.

I believe you have to unlock one of the upgrades for your baton before you can use the "dash" attack input that he mentioned. I'm not 100% certain on that though.
if you need an easier jump you can gun charge with arrow legion in order to jump earlier than this, or otherwise do a full gun combo with beast legion so that you don't even need anything past level one baton

Like bayonetta, this game has dodge offset. so you can do two hits of your combo chain, dodge, then continue off where you left off.

I used hit rush for ALL legions so I had them ALL on screen at the same. This is really good for fighting multiple enemies

Maintenance is mainly use for Coloring your legion. The game says if your legion is “dirty” you cannot change color

Yeah the most they tell you is with Lappy saying that for Leigons, it's like taking a bath. ...that's it

There is one in the first of Olive's cases. Just start the case and go back into the alley and it should spawn.

hmmm that jump think... doesnt work on the garbadge thing on file 3.... theres an item on top of it but then how i reach it?
Maybe you figured it out already but you can jump from above using chain jump above it. There's no fall damage so yeah
