You know the water nation was done dirty by the other Avatars. With their last avatar before Korra living only for 33 years, and Kyoshi holding up the line for 230 years, Roku holding it up for 70 year (which is relatively average), and Aang holding up the line for 100 years when he was chilling in ice. And for 66 years that he lived. I can't believe that the water nation had to wait almost 500 years before a avatar was born in their nation.
the sad thing is Korra might die at 33 and Genji lives a long life 😭

I don’t think that’s as important as people make it out to be. Look at all the times Aang sought guidance from the previous avatars just for them to give him advice that he didn’t want to hear that even went against his principles that resulted in him finding his own solution. The avatars have a lot of information to pass down but for the most part is outdated that would no longer work on a more modern world.

I actually liked Korra. Her world building was crazy, sub bending techniques were amazing, and she had to fight Vatu which in itself was amazing. I will die on this hill!

@@kngmke969 I actually enjoyed Korra season 2 more than Last Air Benders Season 2 . Korra season 1 is the hardest for me to watch because Amon was boring. I just enjoyed Korra’s series more than Aang’s.
@@RoyalKoolaid1777I completely agree with you! Korra is probably my favorite avatar. Her pure strength and sheer will is practically matched by none other than Kyoshi, and her sub bending was astounding. Something that I realized was that she was the first person to bend Platinum.
To be honest I will die on this hill right next to you. Korra’s story arc was amazing. Aang saved the other nations from the Fire nation and ended the war yes, but Korra literally had 4 different villains to save the world from, in just as about as many years. And all of them were stronger than the Fire Lord, except maybe Amon. Lets not even compare a battle against Fire Lord vs a battle against Zaheer. And bridging the human and spirit worlds? Reviving an entire nation? Literally fighting the spirit of evil? GTFO

Korra could probably learn lava bending since it is the 3rd strongest bending, 1st is blood bending then lightning then lava, Roku was killed by a volcano's lava or rather by the sulfur toxicity

The avatar that vanished actually was not roku, it was aang. It was common knowledge that roku had died and everyone else was expecting an air nomad avatar, meaning roku did not vanished from his avatar duties, the person who vanished from his post as avatar was Aang. Also roku did not do energy bending or metal bending, but he is one of the avatar that could lava bend, plus i also have a theory he could lightning bend but who knows

I think the fire avatar start the mess and the cycle continue to earth avatar which completely solve the problem . Like Avatar Sito created the problem and it was faced by yang-chen ,kuruk and was completely solved by Avatar Kyoshi .After that roku created the problem which was faced by aang and some by korra and will completely removed by earth avatar.

This puts a plot whole in avatar. Don't you think? Because Korra was killed in the avatar state but lost her past lives. Avatar aang was as well. So wouldn't that make him the first avatar? Cause when you think about for the first season of Korra she wasn't in tune with the avatar state couldn't even access the past lives for lack of spiritual connection. Then Aang appeared before all the others to allow her to access them and open her spiritual connection which also allowed her air bending to form but I don't think she used it which is a topic that is different to discuss. 🤔

the glazing on korra is diffrent
Most avatars that were predessors of aang were terrible at there job. Kyoshi being number 1 and yang chen being nunber 2nd, lito being nunber 3, roku being number 4 and kuruk being nunber 5. Kyoshi ouright ignored so many problems and created and gave the dai lee to a corrupt king and said dai lee lead to basing se being taken over. Yang chen lied to so many zoirits and ignored her spiritual duties, which led to kuruks demise and aang dealing with general old iron. Roku thought he could trust his friend.

the thing i dislike bout the korra show is the terrible and unpredictable scheduling they gave the workers. i wish they were given enough time or at least remake it. her & sakura are strong as hell but viewed terribly cause writing. she was flawed, however, she was one of the most realistic avatars from a humanistic aspect. being told you’re great since you’re 4 and nobody actively helping you but putting all the pressures of the world on you with no solution. she make terrible decisions like any teenager and she wasn’t truly taught the avatar way. her spirituality was her weakness with no guide but i don’t feel she’s as horrible as people act like she is.

How was Roku the weakest when there was an avatar that didn’t even bother to learn the rest of the elements?
This list is mostly biased. He said Aang was the one that brought balance to the world but Aang couldn’t even bring back the air bender which was needed for balance to return to the world. Also the world was originally spirits and humans living side by side and Aang neglected that part and just mainly focused on the humans.
Roku maybe isn't the weakest but he didn't learn any sub bending compare to any avatars.they all have like one or three deadliest sub or skill while roku have none of that.

I know everyone loves Aang but if we not being bias Korra is the correct answer for the strongest avatar. As the avatar Korra was the only one to actually accomplish true peace and balance. Aang didn’t cause Aang didn’t restore the air benders also Aang neglected other earth benders feeling regarding republic city which caused kurvia which Korra had to take care of. And for Amon. Aang’s inability to actually take care of the villain Yakone was the cause of this. If Aang had gotten rid of Yakone then Amon would’ve never been a thing. The fact he made sure Ozai was watched 24/7 but didn’t do the same for Yakone who was a greater then then Ozai that’s proves my point on aang’s negligence. 90% of korra’s problems came from aang’s inability to do what the avatar needed to actually to which then cause Korra to step up and do what was needed for Aang to do.
Korra brought true balance between the spirits and the humans unlike any other avatar. Aang didn’t even really bother to integrate the spirits and the humans. Which was neeeded to bring balance.

Aang was that guy, he built the series up by doing it all in one year as a kid. Then they destroyed it with Korra. They've got to continue the story just to make up for the disconnect from the past Avatars.

Korra is the strongest avater when it comes to raw power.
Her direct and deeper connection with the Avatar spirit makes her perfectly fit to deserves the throne. None of any, are Aware of Raava the Avatar spirit. They're not entirely aware that their powers comes from a spirit, the embodiment of light and peace. Except Wan the first Avatar.
