Yes, but a ridiculously high percentage of old-school perfumers grew up in Grasse, which suggests that 1) their relatives helped them get established, and 2) a childhood spent smelling and discussing fragrances educates the olfactory system. It's the same in almost any specialized endeavor; if you're exposed to it as a kid, you have the potential to progress farther. I haven't done this yet, but I'm guessing that early exposure to a few essential oils on paper strips, with discussion, might educate a young nose. As a kid I was always smelling everything indiscriminately, and believe I would have benefited from a little guidance.
Yesterday I had on some oud fragrance on the back of my hand and I was holding my newphew and it started to irritate his eyes and he kept on rubbing his eyes. I knew right away it was the fragrance. I went to wash and scrub it off immediately.
I'm a big proponent of getting kids outdoors to play, especially around greenery. Quality air during exercise does wonders to counteract the potential respiratory stressors in human-made environments. Once you tip the balance in favour of nature, I think we have significantly less to worry about.
SOTD: Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche. A bit of consideration goes a long way. I’m always prepared to scrub off fragrances in cases of allergies etc. And i try to stay aware of what fragrance i wear when and where.
Scent of the day was Fabulo Intense by Maisen Alhambra, and then the latter part of the day was encre noir l'extreme with my frankincense and myrrh, then the night was office for men. (i'm trying my best to reset my collection by using diverse scents daily).
My comment is not really on topic of video, but would there be a way to get fragrance one for a good price for example like your website but in Europe. Because I dont really have the means to spend 300 plus on the official site
I'm Albanian and us kids grew up with smokers. Weekends uncles & cousins would get together and play cards and the room was filled with smoke while us kids sat around or walked through the room... not 1 of us got asthma or any kind of sickness. Stop raising a bunch of wimpy kids.
How can you say that you didn't get any kind of sickness? Can you prove it? You can say that we survived it but not that we didn't have any harm. Back in the days they didn't think about the danger or didn't know. Today we have much more information, we should use them and not be ignorant.
@@mk92859 "Can you prove it?" I just told you... I don't have asthma, none of us got any kind of respiratory issues. Being "too careful" is what is giving rise to a lot of these "sensitivities" to foods and other things. I'm not saying throw your kids into danger but, being "too protective" is likely to cause more harm than good down the line. People used to put their kids with other sick kids to build their immune systems back in the day. Today, a kid sneezes and gets a fever, people run to the emergency rooms then wonder why their kids can't have peanuts.
While kids are infinitely more important than pets, I did make a video on the topic for you Toxic Scents May Poison Your Pet th-cam.com/video/_qcrBSpH-rg/w-d-xo.html
@@sabinewagner7009 we can agree to disagree. And I’m not talking about subjective feelings but the importance of children vs pets as a whole. Even trying to compare them is absurd.
I expected some factual information from a fragrance specialist about the specific toxic chemicals in perfumes or even the names of perfumes that are dangerous for kids when I clicked on this video. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear anything specific or new-just unprofessional ramblings in a reprimanding tone. Sorry, Kamil, you should prepare better; we need names and facts.
Appreciate the honesty :) this video was inspired by a question if frags are ok for kids. Maybe I can make a list of top 10 most toxic fragrance ingredients for you :) thanks for being here

Fragrance and makeup especially can rub off on babies or toddlers when they are being held, hugged or kissed by a parent, teacher etc

Very important Video 👍
What do you think about wearing Cologne and hugging your child? I like to use many sprays of EDPs and am worried about the carryover.
