Have always been a huge fan of your brand Jonathan. If it wasn't for the insane import duties on vehicles that we have here in India, I would have grabbed the opportunity of being a proud owner. Cheers and keep up the great work you're doing.

I had a nice 60 and still have an 80 TLC but I never seen anything to this magnitude I mean it's hard to explain the beauty and potential that you bring out of the trucks you and your team build. I'm totally stricken with emotion when I see the FJ 60s in particular. Excellent job guys.

Thanks for the tour. It is nice to see a shop where the final assembly is done correctly not like on tv, the night before the customer pickup.
Thanks for keeping the standards high.

I hope everyone of your technicians appreciate all that they have. Since 1982 I have been accustomed to working with next to nothing. I mean we had nice welders and such, but in only one shop did we have a lift other than a fork lift and it was an overhead electric hoist capable of lifting the nose of Peterbilt. In retirement, my frame rack involves using the j-bolts in the bottom plate of a stud wall. I can only drool at your shop, pat yourself a few times on the back for me

"shou sugi ban" is the name of the process of charring/coderizing the wood. (just clad a house in it) looks awesome, lasts long time.
I love your shop tours. It's always fun to see what cool cars you have lying around. Thanks.

For the record, these tours of the candy store are some of my favorite videos. That beautiful 300 in the showroom and the 'different' 49 Merc were a couple of noteworthy mentions along with your collaboration with the insane engines from your neighbor Nelson. I shall, however, beat you up on the opening. Did you say you were showing your clean office for prosperity or posterity? Quite different meanings.

    great video as always.
Just a tip regarding your camera gimbal. Turn it on standby and leave it on a bench with its back on the bench top for about 30 seconds before completely switching it on, it will adjust so as the camera is level.

    Hey Jonathan,
I'm a huge fan of the brand and as I've watched more videos over the past few weeks I've become an even bigger fan of you and what you've accomplished. Amazing. I purchased my first early Bronco (1970) last week and am excited to get it into the shape I want it to be--- already looking at several options on your site to add to it. I'm 31 years old, own my own company, and really admire what you've accomplished. I hope to get to your level over the years and I thank you for your inspiration. Do you plan to add more BR options on your site such as the aluminum mirrors/door handles?---possibly a full BR DIY package??? (just kidding---but kind of not). Hope you're well.

I'm glad to see those Land Cruisers being upgraded and renovated. We used them in the Angolan War (South African Defence Force), exactly those models and they could do anything - including carrying an entire squad on the LWB with a vast Marshall amplifier on the front bumper running to Emmerson Lake and Palmer, Smoke on the Water, in the cab, very late 70's. The Land Rover was a hard ride on whichever suspension setting and very fragile. The Toyota is based on Model T design, another reason to hug it. The Communists had no answer to these things, they walked. And carried useless AK47's that cracked on your knee after you killed its owner. We drove over anti-personnel landmines in Land Cruisers and Unimog 6-wheelers and survived. What Zero Haliburton is to luggage Land Cruisers are to vehicles (Zero Haliburton luggage survives most planewrecks.)

Loved the "Piss off the purists" comment. Funny enough i actually thought of making a t-shirt with that written on to go to shows, since here (where i'm from) you only have old cars if you are a collector... Nice detail!

Can't wait to see the Rolls on the road, I think it's a perfect candidate for a derelict. You should do an early 70's silver shadow as well: they have some unaffordable engineering that guarantees them a path to the scrap heap, but they still have beautiful lines and interiors. We've got one on Craigslist in Austin for $3,000 right now. I believe that's about the cost of a replacement hubcap, lol.

great video would like to see a video on your paint process and disassembly process.
When you re-paint the vehicles what type of rust protection is applied? Usually bodies are e-coated- there is a company up in wisconsin I think, where many top level restorers send their bare bodies to get e-coated prior to paint.
What exactly does Icon do to stop rust for many decades? Would be curious to see your process. Thanks

My obvious question is, have you thought of sharing your collection with the world this way? It would be nice to see ICON Derelict cars in my own personal collection. Thank you for your awesome designs...I used to work as a 30 year ASE Master Technician and I know what detailed work you do. I also did some of what you do a lot of. I applaud you and your team.
