That’s impressive stats mate - small tip !… carry a poncho … weighs nothing if you are caught in a down pour like that it will cover you / the bike and luggage rack ( the electrics) … if weather it to wet it also makes a storm shelter :: I always carry mine and 6 bungees for tie downs ..beats the shite out of getting soaked ..been there done that 😆👍
Hi.I also have a model X, where I have a 13Ah battery. Engwe also makes a 16Ah battery that also fits the X model. Where did you buy the 20Ah battery you have in the frame? Thanks.
So what battery is it then? You've shown us the range gains but not shared what you're using. This bike only comes with a 13Ah battery so is the internal one also aftermarket?
Great video. I have not yet bought my first ebike. Do you mind telling me what standard version of the battery that came with your bike did you have before modifying it? You’re about the same weight as myself. My priority is good hill climbing - how did the original set-up fare in that department?
The mods don’t increase the power, they do however make the bike safer and give it massive range. The crown forks gives the bike better stability and the mid fork gives you the ability to lock out the suspension for a better road riding experience. Better tyres helps too. Braking has been massively upgraded because at our weight stopping shouldn’t have to be with mechanical brakes … we need all the help we can get. This one’s for sale if you’re in the U.K.
@@ModProjects4306 thanks for the reply, I have a 52v rack battery on my DIY bike but the rack is a lot different, I could mount just the base plate to the existing Engwe rack but I'd prefer a rack enclosure like yours. Could you point me in the right direction to find one plz? Muchos gracias ✌️
Please post how you connect all that
wow this is great, need to do this to mine but im all the technical with building and modding. great video!

I like the BMX bars. What headset are you using?
Genuinely can’t remember dude, it’s been that long. I did get them from BMX Source Online though if that helps.
Hi any know what psi in these tyres cheers
Depends on your weight if you’re 150lb you can get away with 18psi … 250lb and I’d go 20psi.
Hope this helps.
WHAT RACK BATTERY DID YOU ADD TO THIS?
30ah 48v.
