At 8 years old, Tanishq contemplates the fate of the universe, attends college classes, and discovers super novae. Enter Tanishq's special world and join him on his quest for knowledge, while meeting the family and teachers who cultivate his genius.

Those kids in his class must feel like shit knowing a 8 year old has the highest grade in there class.

Some people are smart because they were born with a talent for learning. If society wouldn't crush children's creativity and curiosity, maybe this would happen more often.

This is a message to everyone here, if you have children or are planning of having children, PAY ATTENTION TO THEM NO MATTER WHAT, if they say school is boring then take it seriously, if they request to learn something different, start them off with something simple yet interesting.
I would feel really dumb if I was 19 and still in a class with an 8 year old.
I aced all my college classes and i thought i was smart until i saw this video. There goes my self-confidence. Btw, im really glad that the parents still allow him to be kid.

It's not just the children that inspire me, it's also the amazing parents who do everything in their power to assist their child in furthering their understanding. Great parents make great kids!
Usually when you see this kid geniuses they seem to be incredibly awkward and have serious social problems, but Tanishq obviously seems to be able to act just like a normal kid. It's a great testament to his parents, allowing him to still have fun and make friends.

Hats off to his intelligent, caring, and supportive family. In order to constantly challenge a person with such talent like Tanishq, they've must have been very active with his interests. I wish all parents all over the world would be able to do this with their children as well. He seems to have a very well rounded life; good for him! Best of luck Tanishq!

I love how he said "its never boring talking to college students." How sweet and innocent. The college intellectual ambiance is relaxing, stimulating, & nurturing for both the body, mind, and soul. It expands & relax our minds. Whether you are 9 or 90 years old - learning is beautiful, calming, & inspirational.

I admire his enthusiasm and raw passion for everything that interests him. He doesn't come off as smug/condescending at all, which is hard for someone who has superior intellect at such a young age. I can't help but think that he must feel so lonely bc he has a disconnect with his peers his age and also his classmates in college classroom Tanisq, I can't wait to see what you can do in the years to come! You are beyond adorable :)
This kid is absolutely brilliant and a great inspiration. The love of learning... doesn't get much better than that. If only this motivation could extend to other students.

What a brilliant mind and not only does he have the potential, his parents helped him accelerate his mind at such a young age. There are young minds that have so much potential, but the parents sometimes don't contribute or cannot contribute to the children's potential.
I really think if i was kept away from Girls, TV, Soda, Candy and didn't have worry about family problems and being bullied at a young age, i would perform way better not on his level but not that far apart... wish him the best !!!
Why dislike the video?
This kid is a gem not only is he smart, but most importantly he is a humble person with good intentions to help out man kind in the future.
The parents are doing an amazing job keeping his momentum going and exposing him to a wide variety of subjects; also for giving him an way to socialize with kids his age which I feel is just as important. Seeing that his sister is always showing potential, I'd say we're gonna be hearing a lot from the Abraham Family in the decades to come.

Tanishq has two gifts in life:
1) His God-given desire to learn at an accelerated level (and therefore his ability to do so at an early age)
2) His supportive parents...it's clear he would never have these opportunities if it wasn't for their encouragement and dedication to him and his sister.
Remarkable. Much kudos to everyone involved in enriching this kid's life.

Very generous! The family is based in California, so not sure if they're looking at schools so far away.
The kid is just lucky that he receives all this opportunities.Most kids his age don't get home-schooled, don't even get raised the same way. His parents can afford college.
The kid is missing out on his childhood. He even misses having friends! I'm sure more kids could be as smart as he is with the right parental supervision. You can notice that he is a child just by what he suggests sometimes. But the parents push him (notice the T-shirt he's wearing in the end and the quote, idea of parents?).
My mother was told by a psychologist that I would never be able to get married if she allowed me to be put into a higher grade as my school had suggested. I was kept at grade/age level all my school years. i learned nothing in my classes, was not able to communicate with people my own age, but I didn't stop learning. I am incredibly educated but have no certification for it. I am happy that i didn't allow myself to stagnate. I did marry and have children. Now I am writing books.So happy for him

i would like to recommend Jacob Samuel(Sam) ,He is an Amazing Child Pianist from India born with a gift of perfect pitch...Sam is 9yrs old...
When you love what you do it's never looked at as work. Like he said he does it for fun, I love seeing people so deep in their passion because they are truly happy and it glows from them.

Hope this kid fulfils his dreams. Schools can sometimes. Surpress a kids talent. I am glad his parents listened to this kid and supported him.

Tanishq is not only a brilliant child he is also extremely handsome ;O) He and his sister are gifts to humanity and this makes me smile :O) Please spotlight lovely Tiara as well! She deserves as much praise as her brother (you go girl!) Bravo to the parents. You have quite a challenge keeping these beautiful minds stimulated.
The young man is intellectually gifted no denying that at all. It is worth mentioning that most if not all of us can grasp certain concepts that at first glance seem difficult (like cosmology), the only difference is that for "normal" people like us, we would have sit down a little longer to understand it, but its doable. Anything is possible.
Haha omg! American River in Sacramento!? I'm friends with a lot of the tennis players there xD, I'm from the Chabot College tennis team and we're close to the ARC team lols. What an odd coincidence the chances of seeing a video about a prodigy that goes to that school lols

This shows the great QUALITIES AND POTENTIAL...that God has placed in ALL MANKIND...but it is up to us to discover them...Tanishq is a great example of it..It doesnt matter how old or young one may be....the gifts..in us....can be utilized at any stage in our life....

Why don't neuroscientists gather all these human miracles such as prodigies and savants and actually do some serious studies.We could find out so much about the human mind.
i watch this with a deep sigh of relief. how wonderful to see that there will be brilliant human beings like this to pass on the legacy of this planet to. the world will not turn to shit as i'm old and greying after all.

I'm excited to have someone like him amongst us. I feel like with someone this brilliant and such a positive person with such amazing parents that aren't so mean to him to drive him to being pressured into something he doesn't want to be I feel like the world would benefit with such a great youth. I really hope to see him in books alongside the greats. A new Tesla for our age! Maybe I'm way off since I'm not intellectually gifted as he to put in perspective where he stands but I love the kid!

Beautiful....Theres no doubt that he is insanely gifted but this video also shows what happens when you remove the walls set by traditional schooling and let kids learn at their own pace. Go Tanishq!!!! :)

There is joy in the eyes of this boy. Do not take this joy away prematurely simply for the sake of being a genius.
I honestly saved a screenshot of your comment, because I feel it's spot-on to the problem plaguing the state of education. It's been a problem for a long time, and I've felt a growing desire to be a part of the reform that will introduce the necessary changes. Seriously, save this comment of yours and use it to bring awareness to those who have the power to change the education system where you live. With your permission, I would like to use it as well to accomplish the same.

I don't think is goodfor a child to be so much different from peers. Social skills are more important at that age (actually, at any age)
