Thanks for waiting P. We understand that the screen goes dark if it doesn't move for a while. To optimize energy efficiency, Smart Energy turns off your screen when it senses that you’ve moved away from your desk. Therefore, this is normal and part of the functionality. Thanks for getting back to us P. There are several reasons we need to check why the screen goes dark even if you don't move. Did the screen turn dark while you are working on the PC or did the screen turn dark but you are not working on the PC and you are not away? We can check the screen saver timer if it's set to turn off for 5 minutes or less. However, if the screen goes dark while you are working on the PC and you are not away we need to check the display driver or settings to have this fix. Hey Lenovo, when I have smart energy activated and don’t move for a while, the screen goes dark…the driver from your website is installed!
