Exploration was best in the dlc out of all chronicle genes because it motivated you unlock skill, gem, and accessory slots. Rather than just unlocking them through the story. That’s great game design
My thoughts exactly on the game. Amazing concussion to a wonderful saga and I'm extremely excited for what is next from Monolith Soft. I do hope we get more games set in Xeno universe soon maybe loosely connected, but like a whole new saga and everything :-)

Torna didn't really do it for me because I felt XC2 tied off it's major plot points and didn't care much for the little backstories. Same for Future Connected with XC1 DLC - it was quite pointless. *Spoilers on XC3 ending below* With XC3 I enjoyed the characters but nothing really happened plot wise - time itself didn't move forward at all in the real world. Since future redeemed is based in the past - is there any reason for me to get this? I'm interested in what happens after the ending of 3 :\
as someone who’s played all three games and torna too, i honestly think the prequel format for this dlc is a lot more satisfying in the grand scope of the series than an epilogue story would’ve been. it so perfectly fills the gap between the end of xc 2 and the start of 3, and it reveals a tonnnn of lore
Future Connected is actually not pointless. It shows basically how Melia ended up being the queen of Keves and the rifts and fog king are very relevant. Torna is more about giving context to Jin, Malos, Mythra, Haze, and Mikael as characters. But that makes sense since it was supposed to be in the base game but got cut out since 2 is already pretty long. Future Redeemed is about how Aionios came to be and the ramifications of the events in 3 which means 3 was not pointless. But you have to play it for yourself to understand. But even without Future Redeemed, everything that happened in Aionios was recorded both in Origin and in the latent memories of people. As shown through Crys and Ashera and to some extent Eunie, memories of your past lives never go away, they just become buried. So now you have 2 planets worth of people who have thousands of years of latent memories.
I didn’t encounter any personally. Couple times I did have to level up 1-2 levels cause I was struggling personally speaking, but if you’re better than me at these kinds of games (which isn’t hard) you should be fine😅
Saying this because you explicitly asked for feedback at the start, but I would've preferred a scripted video, this one had way too much aimless rambling
@@Maverick.D. I liked it fine. What I didnt like was the cackling villains (everyone except N just... Sucked), the underdeveloped ending and I can't even talk about Z. The music was also not nearly as good as I expected, I can't remember one song. What worked really well was the characters and the gameplay. 8/10. Chained Echoes 10/10, every aspect of it is S-tier :)))).
Finished it as well. It’s kinda lacking. I want more story content. There’s a lot in the lore that they can include. Not worth the money I spent for the DLC.

Future Redeemed is set around 70 years after the events of XC3.
Have you tried finishing the main game after unlocking the new Heroes? Does that change the ending at all for the main game?
I’ve yet to try that but now that you mention it I may have to just to confirm!
No. Rex and Shulk are just... there. They will not show up in events nor can you get their classes

25 hours of game and the other expansions included (thats how long I spent and i didnt even finish everything) isnt worth 29.99? lol gtfo
